This was a very disappointing visit. The restaurant looked unclean, and many of the vegetables appeared old and wilted. I asked the employee to change the lettuce, but he didn’t, and I’m not sure if he understood me. The meat area was messy, with leftovers sitting out, and employees weren’t cleaning it. Cleanliness and freshness were lacking, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The genuinely nicest person I’ve ever met in my life, stayed open after close to make food and gave a free bottle of water to someone who needed it.

Husband wanted a subway sandwich. We stopped in, and he ordered the foot long steak sandwich on whole wheat. The sandwich was okay. Employee was helpful.

Worst subway on the island. They really are not clean. They cut sandwiches with wet dirty knife and the water goes into the sandwich. The lady into night was rude and i called ahead to check if they had everything because a few times I’ve came in and they where out if almost everything but she did not pick up so i drove over calling to find she was on her cell phone with no one in but orders coming in and not picking up the phone. When I was there I heard it ring from others calling and she did not pick up also.
If I get sick from the sandwich, i’m holding her accountable, especially because i’m pregnant and its disgusting what she did. Also reporting already to an alameda health inspector.

Every subway you go to you can see the staff prepare your sandwich and look for freshness ….Not this one, they put a stainless steel shield in front of the glass so that you cannot see if the products are fresh or not specially when it comes to Tuna that may be brown in color if it’s been sitting out for awhile. Are they wearing gloves, you’ll never know. I stopped going to this Subway. New Owners trying to sale inedible food products !!!

The staff is always nice to me, my only potential complaint is I always make sure the veggies I use are freshly cut, and not frozen from the night before, so far I’ve been lucky, but if I see it isn’t full of the fresh stuff, I’ll ask for a fresh batch from the back, South shore location is notorious for this.

I recently came across a video depicting an unfortunate incident where an employee used a racial epithet towards a customer. The behavior exhibited is deeply disturbing, reflecting a complete lack of decorum and customer service standards. I strongly believe that swift action should be taken by management to address this issue and ensure a more respectful environment for customers.

Extra skimpy on the meat, I ordered the cold cuts, only got one layer of meat which was literally two slices, a cup of soup, not a bowl was $4…I got the meal of the day which was supposed to be 699 everything came out to $12 and all I got was the 6-in meal of the day and a cup of soup.

A good spot. Always clean. Covid safe signs everywhere. Have rarely had them mess up an order. i have always liked the staff here too. Fresh everything. Never brown avocados. Has a parking lot. I recommend order ahead through the app to get your points and walk over for your goodies.
Very satisfied with this location.
