I have been here many many times with no problem, that changed yesterday and I was very disappointed with the service I received. My order has always been only salami as my meat, and it’s never been a problem even at this location. I order and the girl told me they don’t do plain salami and I responded that I always get that and they charge it as a pepperoni, she then says hold on and turns around to take stuff out the oven. A very nice guy asked what I wanted to which I said, I’m still thinking the girl told me you guys don’t do salami, she then turns around and snaps at me saying she is the manager so she knows, I apologized several times if I came off as rude because I wasn’t trying to be rude I was just telling him I’m still thinking because you don’t do my order, she responds no we don’t, and I said I know, I walked out. Never have I experienced such terrible customer service. I work in customer service and I have NEVER treated a customer badly, and that’s just being an employee, such a disappointing example of a manager.

There was no one at the register when we arrived, and a line formed. When the lady finally came inside the restaurant, she snapped at a man for checking around the corner to see if anyone was there. When making my sandwich, I asked for extra olives, and she said she could only put 6 on a foot long or she would get fired. I’m so sure. Bread tastes stale.

SLOW.
We made the mistake of coming back, hoping we just caught them on a bad day—and NOTHING has changed. It feels like you’re always waiting upwards of 30+ minutes just standing there just to place an order. One woman was so hyperfocused on fixing the paper towel dispenser while a line of people stood there waiting. It was almost as if she was doing it on purpose to avoid doing her actual job, as the line piled up toward the door! The other woman making the sandwiches was ridiculously slow with a customer—to the point that it genuinely felt intentional, just to avoid addressing the growing line! And if you manage to get there before others? They hide in the back and still take forever to come out. And when they finally do? They act completely irritated that you’re even there, like you’re the problem and its such an inconvenience to them for simply showing up!

I just stopped at the Subway on Paseo De Onate Espanola New mexico. This was quite possibly the worst service experience of any place I’ve ever been in my entire life. The girl was rude, nasty, argumentative and refuse to do anything that I asked her to with my sandwich. I will never come back to this Subway again. This was horrible

Service was very slow. Was told immediately that I would have to wait because a large order was placed online prior to mine plus two men were also in line. Female employee fixing the sandwiches did not have her hair pinned back, no hairnet. Her long blond hair was all over the prep area, very unsanitary! Three female employees did not seem to want to work together as a team to get the orders out. The cash register was more important to one employee than helping her co-worker prepare the orders.

This store use to be my go to, and now it’s just seems like it’s sloppy and super slow. If you’re in a rush don’t plan on coming here, expect to wait 20 mins while these girls are running all over the place. Just doesn’t seem professional, as well as the manager just seems like she doesn’t care honestly. To the new girl, im assuming new because she was just standing there. Run away from that place.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!! Went in on 6/28. 5 people in line. It took 1/2 hour to get sandwich, and that’s after 1 of the 5 gave up and left. VERY slow! Asked for the #12. They had no idea what that was. After finally getting sandwich, realized in car bacon was cold, pink and limp, looked uncooked, so we took it off. With that lack of attention to detail we were worried about getting food poisoning from rest of sandwich! By far Worst Subway we have ever been to! Stay Away.

Update: 10/26/24 not open on the weekends, seems to never have Italian herb an cheese bread READY, waited again way to long to even be acknowledged. Do better Subway!!
Please train your employees not to have side conversation when you’re busy.. I watched a lady wait so long she left. On 06-24-24 I went in and waited also way to long just get a sandwich. Not the first time this has happened.. this place needs more help.
