This is pretty much the only place to eat for over a hundred miles, and let me tell you I’ve never been so happy to see a subway in my life. Italian BMT was good and clean, unlike from other subways I’ve been to. Bathrooms were clean too, which is also a plus.

Everything you would expect from a Subway anywhere else in the world. Clean and comfortable. This place can get a little busy as it is one of only two major fast food places along the well traveled highway going through the small and depressed town of Cuba NM. They are always consistent.

This could be a one off experience but we showed up about 2 minutes before the store was open, took the dog for a walk, tried to go in about 10 minutes later and the door was still locked. I saw one review of the place along the lines of “it’s a subway in Cuba NM with underpaid staff, what more do you expect” and my answer to that is simply… more? A job is a job. Have some pride for your employer and pride your work. It will move mountains for you in life. As far as I’m concerned the “underpaid” employees should be happy they are even paid. If it were my business, I’d be extremely upset that business doors weren’t open during business hours. Pitiful.

We drive for 45min to this Subway which was closed on a Saturday at lunchtime. Luckily a sign was taped to the door ‘closed’. Wouldn’t have guessed that since Google maps said it was open. Another nail in the coffin for Subway, in my mind.

4 workers and were slow as snails! Seemed like they were inexperienced and the ones who did seem to know what they were doing were even slower and as small as this subway located in Cuba, NM is shouldn’t be the case at all! I saw 2 teenagers by themselves at a busy Farmington Restaurant moved faster then all 4 of the female crew at the Cuba, NM location and they had 3 times as many for there dinner rush at the Farmington, NM Location!

I would rate it a zero star if I could. My husband and I went inside after traveling for 3 hours with smiles on our faces. It took the lady 3 minutes to realize we were in there. We said hello and asked how she was then all we got was a eye roll. My husband told her what he wanted, she didn’t bother to ask what cheese or what bread. Didn’t speak one word to him literally. He’s hispanic. I was getting super frustrated with her so I have to tell her what I wanted exactly. Again, she didn’t bother to ask if I wanted my sandwich toasted. Needless to say she was so rude for no reason what so ever. I will NEVER return to this subway even if it was the last thing standing.

Reliable chain for sandwiches, salads, soup. They were not busy when we came in but all staff sprang into action as soon as we ordered. Food was good, place was clean. A family with small kids came in after us and also got great service.

Crew needs training, very badly. Over charging because they don’t see a picture on the cash register to touch. They need to understand they have to make decisions on their own. I left the restaurant with my full order setting on the counter, they never understood the problem nor the fix.

Worst customer services experience. First, they don’t have I ingredients common to Subway, lime Green pepper or brown mustard. Then the don’t toast the sandwiches long enough to actually make it seem as if the sandwich was toasted, then the substitute yellow mustard, and the manager ignores you when you want to talk to them about the subpar sandwich. Won’t ever return to this subway.

My wife, daughter and I stopped here for lunch on a trip from Idaho to Texas. We ordered three sandwiches. My wife couldn’t eat hers, she thought something was off with hers. My daughter and I ate ours. By the time we got to Bernalillo New Mexico, my daughter was puking and I had horrible cramps and had diarrhea. Take a close look at the meat they use on your sandwich and/or the condiments. I will not be returning to this location. This has made for a horrible trip.
