I have to be honest, Subway isn’t what it once was. Typically you won’t find too many people here. If you’re looking for a good sandwich or even great customer service, this isn’t the ideal place. After a few years hiatus, I decided to try it out again just to see how it was. Quality has gone down. The people who work here might have both been having a very bad day, or, they just don’t care. I’m leaning to the latter. While the breakfast sandwich I ordered kept away the hunger pangs, it was okay at best. They had to defrost most of my sandwich when making it. It certainly wasn’t fresh. I think the part that made the experience here today worse than necessary was how much it left like I was an inconvenience to the employees who were more busy with social media and I was interrupting. It may be some time before I’m willing to come back, sadly…

If I could give zero stars I would. Their app is a joke. Don’t order curbside as it apparently doesn’t notify them that you’ve arrived. I sat there patiently waiting, and finally went inside to find a girl sitting there while a coworker was working the drive thru. I inquired about my curbside, and she proceeded to tell me she didn’t know if it was ready, and then walked over to the rack at the side and pulled it off and slung it at me and said “we weren’t notified that anyone was here”. The sandwich had apparently been prepared when I placed my order at 10:14 and stuck on the rack and forgotten about. Mind you, the order was to be toasted, and was to be ready for pick up at 10:30. The sandwich was a hot mess, which is an oxymoron, because it was STONE COLD. Limp, soggy, barely toasted if at all, on the wrong bread, over salted and over peppered- and the worst excuse for a sandwich that I have ever overpaid for! And it came with a side of attitude at that. It was not busy, so there is ZERO excuse for this. And the girl telling me she was doing inventory…that isn’t an excuse for poor customer service.

Went through the drive-through and it took forever for us to get our food. It was not busy and I only ordered two sandwiches. When I got home my wife’s sandwich was okay but mine was cold and soggy, like water was dumped on it. See attached pictures. Subway is normally fine but don’t go through the 17th St Subway’s drive through!

Came into subway Monday and had this wonderful gentlemen serve me. He helped a lot, followed directions good, and was talking very nicely. His name tag I believe said Saywer and made my service a lot better.

I came in tonight and bought a footlong to split in 3rds. The young girl that made it stacked all the cheese in one solid pile. I asked for “easy lettuce” and she put a salad on it. She put so much oil and vinegar on it that the toppings kept sliding off while I was trying to eat my portion. Worst, I had her cut it in 3rds and she basically cut it in half and then cut one half in half again.
I had avoided coming in for a few weeks because the last time I was in the young girl behind the counter used a knife covered in mustard and who knows what else to fold and cut my sandwich: a sandwich I had asked her only mere seconds before not to cut at all. She didn’t rinse the knife before using it. I’m quite disappointed in this location of late. Might have to go to the one on Channing instead for a while.

Ordered 2 subway sandwiches for dinner through doordash. One ham and cheese melt, one Italian BMT with all the toppings.
My ham and cheese “melt” came cold and not grilled at all, and my BMT came literally dry and naked, none of the toppings or dressings I ordered! Doordash couldn’t even get ahold of them to redeliver, so they had to just refund.
Thanks a lot Subway. Now I have to wait another hour for another delivery from a different restaurant.

If I could go 0 stars I would. Did an online order to pick up. Got there 5 minutes before it was supposed to be ready. Got told they don’t even pay attention to online orders if there are customers in the store. Proceeded to wait 15 minutes for them to start our order. Then they proceeded to mess up something on all 5 sandwiches. Horrible customer service and unable to read directions for sandwiches as well. Left a tip I wish I could take off when I ordered.

I went through the drive thru to get a sandwich after a very long day and ordered turkey/ham, cheese, some veggies, and mayonnaise on my sandwich and when i got home i opened my sandwich to absolutely nothing but meat and bread. Very upset that i paid for this meal and didn’t get half of it.

I don’t see why this location has less than 4 stars. I’ve been here twice this week, the store is kept clean. The associates were both times friendly and helpful. Took pride in their work and delivered service with a smile and a good attitude. There was no one else in line. I recommend this location.
