Was just informed I was only allowed THREE PIECES of olive. You heard me right, three little pieces of sliced olive not even equating to one whole olive. Oh and cheese HAS to go on first, so do the sauces. Except vinegar that HAS to go on last. There are ridiculous signs posted all over this establishment to ‘inform’ customers of the new rules…. Including the constant need for new hires. Not surprising,
the staff look miserable delivering these rules. I was mad but also felt bad for them despite their rudeness. Whoever owns this establishment is a penny pinching tyrant and it shows. It still cost $10 for a six inch tuna sub. Why do I even come here? Oh wait, I won’t anymore. Because despite the employees saying it’s corporate policy, it’s not. The other subway location by Walmart is lovely and will give you olives if asked, and without counting them, and the staff is always joking and friendly there. Side note, the cooler here that holds all the veggies is iced over so all the veggies are soggy and frozen. Do yourself a favor, Toms Deli is directly across the street. For $12 there you get a foot long specialty meat sub on house made bread, plus they are local and carry a lot of other locally made affordable food, drinks, alcohol and sides.

I ordered on the app, I ordered a BMT and a Philly. this BMT wasn’t supposed to have sauce, and there were supposed to be a LOT of veggies. Got none of it. They switched the sauces from the Philly and put it on the BMT, and gave us barely any veggies. I’ll be going back tomorrow with my receipt and photos to make sure I get a free order. Ruined me and my room mates dinner. For anyone using the app, only use it when you’re in the store and can watch the employees make it. I payed $27 for 2 footlongs and got mixed up crap I barely want to eat.

Wow I can’t believe I’m wearing a negative review about subway. Two stars because normally I get a great Sami but today was very strange. The lady absolutely refused to put mayo on my sandwich. I asked her to not put the mayo on the bread because I didn’t want my Sami to get soggy. Why can she not put the mayo on the meat???? Stupid new rules that I guess she feels like she will get arrested if she bends the rule a little so my Sami won’t be soggy. I wasn’t going to eat it right away. I’m not going to eat a soggy Sami. Anyway she wants to give me mayo packets and I asked if it was the same mayo as in the squeeze thing. She said yes. I googled it, it’s not the same mayo. The subway mayo is way better than the packets she gave me. Anyway at the end of her making my Sami she asked if I wanted oil and vinegar, I said Mayo is made of oil and vinegar may I please have mayo. She then stays dousing my sandwich with oil and vinegar!!!! I told her no I don’t want that!!!! So now after this whole stupid ordeal I have a soggy sandwich. Also I was in line for a half hour, there was a line behind me so I felt bad asking for a new sandwich. I paid for a sandwich I didnt order or like. I was going to leave a generous Christmas tip but didn’t leave a dime for the horrible slow service. Subway your new sandwich making rules are dumb. No one wants to eat soggy bread.

Review edited: my original review was very detailed about a recent confrontation I had with the duty manager when ordering my sandwich. Bottom line, Yes, the staff should be better trained about how to deal with customers, and how to humbly accept paying customers’ feedback, even if policies that have been set by upper management are beyond their control.but I guess the main issue is the business’s increasingly rigid policies and rules and expectation for customers to study notices hard before even ordering their sandwich. For example, in my case, they wanted to charge me for two six inch sandwiches, if I I didn’t want olives on half of my 12″ sandwich, obviously, this would cost no extra effort or expense on the business to just put half of the product on my 12 inch because my son didn’t like olives… When one goes out to pay someone else to make them a sandwich, t shouldn’t be expected to study new rules like it’s the bar exam and feel like a culprit for expecting the ‘service’ provider to do something so simple and that doesn’t cost the business anything, and without getting nickeled and dimed. Such rigid policy coupled with a lack of standard service etiquette (read the many comments by others below) makes it not worth my time to continue to give business to businesses who operate like this. So rather than pick my battle with one employee who’s probably just trying to make ends meet and doesn’t have time or real authority to think about these kind of things I target my constructive review towards upper management of this branch — that they should seriously reconsider how they view the customer if they want to remain relevant as a food service business operator in the tough economic times ahead , in which their customer base will be increasingly frugal…the key word bing service.

Standard Subway restaurant offering. We were very let down by how many things were out of stock, such as teriyaki chicken. I tried the chicken garlic wrap, which sounds great on paper but was disgusting. I’m pretty sure I’ve not tasted chicken like that before, so one to avoid.

I place large orders now and then to feed my staff, this time the woman working was very rude, she freaked out because a large order came in, she even locked the door, locking customers in the store! I told her I was here for my order, she told me it wasn’t even half way done so politely said, that’s fine, I’ll just hang out. They helped the other customers, which was fine, I was willing to wait, but when the order was done, she just put it on the pickup shelf and gave me a dirty look. I wanted to confirm it was my order, so I asked her, “is that my order, is it done?” She said, rudely, “all completed orders are on the shelf”. I understand large orders can be stressful around lunchtime, but this person needs better customer service training. The man was kind so I left them a 20% cash tip, something I do regularly, but unfortunately I will be placing my orders at the other location in town moving forward.

The service was unprofessional and rude. The customer is always right, especially when they are paying and eating what they ordered, not just settling for what you tell them you can do.

I decided to try the steak & cheese that looks so yummy in commercials. I couldn’t stop laughing in the line because of how little meat was in it, compared to the commercial & pictures. I basically had a lettuce sandwich. The staff was very friendly, though. The place was clean.

We were getting a sub for our train ride yesterday. The employee wasn’t personable or welcoming. We were the only customers there. When we ordered, we mentioned mayo and brown spicy mustard . She said, ‘we will get to that down there’. We wanted the condiments on the bread, not on top. She then starts rushing the order, again, we are the only customers there. She puts mayo and yellow mustard on the bread. We try to stop her and she said they didn’t have that mustard. Then why not ASK if we still want mustard? Or if we want the honey mustard? We asked for chopped tomatoes(our subway does this) and she said ‘we only have sliced’, I guess a knife doesn’t exist. We then asked for a plastic bag (our location only has this) and she said, ‘we only have paper’, Just give me a bag. Then the register didn’t want to work, offline. She told us to just go. We offered to come back later in the day- we had to get to the train. We waited and she ended up getting it to work and we were able to pay. I know I said our subway does/has certain things. I guess we expected the same type of service and with a pleasant attitude when one works with the public. We felt like we were bothering her. I told her I hope her day gets better. We will not go back in the future.
