I really have to say the changes to this store have not gone unnoticed. Today the Phillips County Players hosted the Holyoke Chamber meeting at the Peerless theater. Subway came through with a win today catering lunchboxes for everyone!! Delicious FRESH and nicely packaged too!!! Thank you Subway for the wonderful representation if your brand!!!

I’ve never been to this location before, but not for lack of trying. Seems like every time I’ve tried to go before today, they were closed. There was a fairly new person working today, along with a more seasoned employee. The newbie made a mistake on the register with another customer which then took quite awhile to fix. Team members should also remember that they need to change gloves between going from the register to food. The sandwich was ok.

The manager is very rude. Went in today to get a breakfast sandwich and I took a picture of the sign that they had posted saying that “Due to a mechanical issue, we are unable to provide you with any pizza’s, egg products, or toasted subs until further notice” I took this picture to share with co-workers because they eat there and the one made a comment that she was probably going to be getting pizzas and some subs. I was just taking the picture so that I would get the information to her correctly. The manager was very rude to me and asked my why I was taking a picture of her sign and she continued to be rude after I explained myself. That wasn’t the first time that I have been in there that she was rude. I know that others have made the same comment about her.

This Subway has its pros and cons. The Sandwich Artists do a great job but the district manager is 110% worthless and incompetent!! The two stars go towards the local employment while the remaining three stars show the lack of management from higher up.

Nearly all sit down restaurants in Holyoke close by 8 pm, so, the only thing left was fast food. We choose Subway. Immediately I noticed that there was a barricaded for on one side and a realtor style lock one the other door. Once in side, I noticed the floors were dirty and most tables not bussed. The two counter employees where fair to deal with. The food was as expected EXCEPT FOR THE BLACK BEETLE LIKE BUG crawling in my sandwich!!!! Completely unacceptable. I spit my food out, without making a scene, and we left. This will be my last time going to any Subway. Whomever owns this store need to close it for a week, or more, for a DEEP clean and fumigation.

Food is good. Most employees know how I like my sandwich done and 9 times out of 10 they’ll get things perfect. I eat there almost every day for lunch and can’t complain bout anything.

My sandwich was wrapped and it look like it has been ran over. If i could give this place a zero I would. The person making the sandwiches was talking more to the oven and the people. I will never return to this place.

Came in during the evening and the store is very clean and has a large dining area. This is the only subway I have been to that sells ice cream too and it’s not bad at all. Service and food was good.
