I visited this Subway location today, November 10th before 3pm. It was my second visit, and I ordered a 6-inch sandwich. The store was not busy; I was the only customer at the time of order.
When paying, the male employee asked if I needed anything else, and I clearly replied, “That should be it.” After paying the tip and the bill, I requested a receipt.
Upon checking the receipt, I noticed I was charged for a drink I absolutely did not order. I immediately went back to the cashier area, but no one was there. I called out “Excuse me” several times.
A female employee eventually came out, and I explained the situation. She insisted that a refund was difficult because the manager was absent, stating the refund would only happen tomorrow morning or might take up to a week. This was completely unacceptable and baffling. The store made the error, yet they refused an immediate resolution. After repeating that a refund was impossible, she eventually told me to just take a drink from the cooler instead, essentially forcing me into an unwanted purchase. I was so upset by the staff’s response that I lost my appetite for the sandwich.
Later, I asked the male employee for a bag. He then admitted he “mistakenly” charged me for the drink. However, given the circumstances, I honestly felt it was intentional, not a mistake—especially because he seemed visibly hesitant when I initially asked for the receipt, and he did not come out immediately to apologize when I called.
Whether it was a genuine mistake or intentional, the inability to provide an immediate refund for a clear billing error is a major flaw in your system. Is it true that only the manager can process a refund? If so, this policy is seriously defective, especially when the error is clearly the store’s fault, and it must be addressed urgently.
I checked the other reviews, and the low rating is now completely understandable, particularly regarding the service and staff attitude. If the store manager reads this, please take immediate steps to correct these issues.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location on January 9 around 10:20 AM. I ordered a foot-long Veggie Sub and noticed the lettuce was yellow and looked spoiled. When I politely pointed this out, the staff member responded rudely, saying, “That’s what we all have.”

When I asked for extra onions and said I was willing to pay for them, she refused and said she would not do it. Her behavior was very rude and unprofessional toward me and other customers in line.

What concerned me the most was hygiene. The staff member was on a phone call while wearing gloves and was also eating, which is not acceptable while preparing food.

I have been living on Sherman Street for three years and usually visit this Subway. My past experiences were good, but this visit was extremely disappointing. I hope management addresses both customer service and food safety issues at this location.

One of the worst food experiences I have had. I ordered a customized sandwich online with multiple ingredients and sauces, and almost everything was missing. No sriracha, no mayonnaise, no SubKrunch, nothing. The sandwich was basically just chicken, spinach, and olives. Completely dry and completely wrong.

When I asked the employee about the missing items, he was extremely rude and said they were busy, as if that is an excuse to ignore the order and give customers whatever they feel like making.

If you are too busy to make orders correctly, stop accepting orders. Simple.

Terrible service, careless staff, and zero respect for customers. I absolutely do not recommend this location to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Very disappointing experience at this Subway. I placed an online order and when I picked it up, the sandwich looked nothing like what I ordered. Several ingredients I selected were completely missing and there were no sauces at all, which made the sandwich dry and barely edible. It felt like the order was rushed and not checked before handing it out.

I went back to ask about it and the staff member was rude and dismissive instead of trying to fix the problem. Rather than helping, he acted like it was an inconvenience that I even asked.

If you are ordering online, be careful because it seems like they do not pay attention to what customers actually select. Missing ingredients, poor service, and an overall frustrating experience. I definitely will not be coming back.

Extremely poor service. I ordered a sandwich online with several ingredients and toppings, but when I picked it up most of the ingredients were missing and there were no sauces at all. The sandwich was dry and clearly not made the way it was ordered.

What made it worse was the attitude of the staff. When I mentioned the issue, the employee was rude and acted like it was not their problem. No apology, no effort to fix it, just a dismissive response.

This location clearly does not care about accuracy or customer service. I would not recommend ordering from here unless you are okay with getting the wrong food and dealing with unfriendly staff.

Terrible experience at this Subway location. I ordered online and selected multiple ingredients and sauces, but when I picked up the sandwich, several ingredients were missing and there were no sauces at all. The sandwich was dry and clearly not prepared according to the order.

I tried to ask the staff about it, but the employee was rude and uninterested in helping. Instead of fixing the mistake or apologizing, he acted like it was normal and blamed it on being busy.

Completely unacceptable service and very careless preparation. If you value getting the food you actually ordered, I would avoid this place

This location is a total joke and I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I ordered online one day and showed up around the time my sandwich should have been ready. The woman was working very slowly and on her phone and had not gotten to my order yet.

About 20 minutes later she finally makes it to my order and decides to then tell me that they are out of lettuce which I literally asked for extra lettuce, so when she asked if I wanted spinach instead the answer was no. When asked for a refund, I was told I needed to contact corporate for that since I placed an online order. I contacted corporate and after a lot of back and forth I finally got contacted by the owner of the location on Sherman and attached was his response. It is obvious he did not know my situation nor did he care considering his response had absolutely nothing to do with my complaint. I then talked to corporate again and found out that a refund should have been issued that day at the store and I wasn’t supposed to go to corporate for that, but their incompetent employee did not know that or if she did she was just being lazy and didn’t want to give me a refund.

At this point, I’m going to contact my bank and do a charge back which will probably mess with their credit, but I really don’t care because they obviously don’t care about their customers. Thanks for nothing, Robert.

The bread was bad, it didn’t taste good. There were only two bread options. The lady working did not have the help she needed. Probably not coming back. I work close so I probably would’ve returned

The person who helped me wasn’t very friendly. They barely had any ingredients so my sandwich was missing half of what I like and they only 2 types of bread. I walked out of there with a very disappointing sandwich. I will never come back to this subway.
