Is 0 an option? Can’t give a star for food since we never got any. Ordered online got to the store to find out there wasn’t any steak for the Phillys , then informed we could only get a refund online…..there’s nothing in the app regarding cancelling and refunding orders that I could see. Told to call management for a refund, good luck

If I could give a 0 or a negative number I would… never again will I set foot in there, but, my teenage daughter asked me to stop by and get her a sandwich… the total was $14.02, I gave the cashier $20, and told her to wait cause I likely had the change. She didn’t wait… she put in the $20.00 as I fished out 2 cents. Then told her to give me the $6.00 change instead of $.98 cents. And she argued with me that the drawer would be short changed… I told her I gave her $20.00 and then the .02 cents is an even $6… and she argued, and the poor guy who was making 3 sandwiches down the line, when she asked him, he looked lost and confused and shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know…” then she asked a lady in the back (I think she was doing something in the cooler or something, and she didn’t know the answer…

Based on my visit! Worse place to find a quick descent meal! The employees worked super slow and without a care in the world, I was so infected with the gloomy,sad,bored, unfriendly energy and atmosphere it was depressing!!!

Worst subways ever. Manager is completely lost as are the employees. I personally witnessed them COMPLETELY burn a sandwich, Get a new piece of bread, and just TRANSFER all of the burned ingredients right onto the new piece of bread. After my 5th time being here (and each visit worst than the last) i will never be back. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Called because i was having an issue trying to order online and the system wasnt accepting my phone number. Was told “i cant help you with that, call the online.“ i asked if i could place my order over the phone. Was told “no, we don’t do that“ lady was extremely rude. Called around 7:45pm. Changed our minds about getting food from there as I wasnt going to give my business to someone who talked to me that way.

Unfortunately its sad to add to the huge amount of bad reviews this place has already. I walked in like around 7ish P.M. told the team member I had kind of like a big order, they refused to take my order because apparently they were gonna run out of bread and that they were gonna take the orders from the customers behind me instead. That I should’ve called 2 hrs in advance so they could have plenty of bread ready or that if I wanted to place the order I would have to wait 2 hrs until the bread got baked. I speak for myself and all of the upset customers, this is a wake up call for the city of Elgin, BBB, chamber of commerce, or city council. Please do something about this place. Seems like the place it’s not managed at all, I wonder if it even has all the legal documentation to be operating up to date.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a Subway. The food was okay but everything else was far from satisfactory. First we had to tell the staff what ingredients were in a Subway Melt as she forgot the bacon. Second, after buying cups we found out that they were out of Sprite, lemonade and vitamin water, basically every drink the kids wanted, they were also out of lids. I went to the bathroom after the employee came out and there was a complete roll of tissue just lying across the floor and every trash can in the place was full. The employee was obviously to busy texting on her phone to notice any of this.

Just visited here. Staff acted like we were imposing on them for being there. Answered personal cell phone while we were waiting to order. They were rude to us. More training needed for sure.

This place does not deserve one star. Poor service to say the least. They do not listen to your order. They have people working here that are not in uniform and do not follow the guide on how the sandwiches are supposed to be prepared. How can a subway be without two out of three types of bread?? Ask this store, they have the answer. It took over 30 minutes for me to get 3 sandwiches made by two different staff members. This store is poorly managed. It seems like no one cares. They will not accept or honor coupons. I would rather drive into Austin for anything else than to ever stop here again.
