I have frequented this subway consistently for the last year or so, and the employee energy has been hit or miss. There have been some great kids working but the last manager seemed unable to keep staff and he himself seemed miserable to be there. The current team, however, and particularly the new manager, TJ, and his shift lead are incredible. They greet people as they come in, chat with customers, and TJ in particular brings the whole vibe up. What a great change and kudos to the regional manager (another exemplary employee) for making the call to bring in some better energy.

I havent been to this subway in months. It was very messy and the workers acted like they didn’t want to be there, and they voiced that. Today I decided to try this location again and I had a great experience. The Manager, T.J. greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. He (and his coworker who’s name I can not remember right now) were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. They also put together our sandwiches very well presentation wise. In the past they would just throw the items you wanted on the sandwich, and it would all spill out when they would wrap it-which they would just leave on the paper. I definitely will be coming back again.

Update: I went back to the store on Thursday December 2nd and it would appear the store is under new management. I explained my situation and the new manager, a very polite gentleman was very professional and although he didn’t know what the policy was or the issue he was happy to remake the order for me and apologized for the previous issue I had. I haven’t tried the food yet but it looked fresh and I am going to have to say even though it may have been a bad experience before try the store again now that they are under new managenent.

If I could give this half a star I would. I placed an order on the app and I am due a refund of $20.54 and a reimbursement of my $2.00 coupon that was used for an order. On Wed Nov 24th 2021 I ordered on the app and looked up the store info. The information for that store’s location said they were closing at 4:00pm. I placed my order at 3:10pm and the order kept saying processing. At 3:30 I went to the store and the sign on the door said they were closing at 3:pm. I banged on the door to get the attention of the staff who were still in the building and a girl with short brown hair gave me an attitude and said she didnt get the order and that she wasn’t making the order. I explained that I had already been billed and she said I would be refunded within 24 hours. I was not refunded and I also think it was very unprofessional the way I was treated and the attitude I received from the employee who answered the door. Her apathetic response was so intentional it was almost as if she was trying to provoke me. I told her have a blessed day and left with a truly felt God bless you but she was really doing all she could to get a rise out of me while I was trying to explain to her what hapoened. She made no attempt to help or understand and said she couldn’t help and that oh well. it wasn’t her problem and that I could wait for my money to be returned. She said she couldn’t do anything to help and she claimed she never got the order so she refused to make it even though I could show it to her on my phone. The whole experience was extremely off putting and I have been a Subway rewards member for years.

This is my neighborhood, Subway. I come here occasionally, but my last visit was really great. I met the new manager here TJ, and he was very friendly and professional. I can tell that they put some work into revamping the ingredients and their process. If you haven’t been here in a while, I recommend stopping by.

Love this subway, idk why all the bad reviews.. I know management and workers weren’t the best before but it’s under new management and has new employees and they are all amazing. They make everything fresh, and they do get busy but they work as fast as possible and they are super friendly, food always tastes amazing.

SO, SO, SO SLOW. Went there at 3 PM on Saturday, and there was only one very slow worker. Waited over 20 minutes behind someone ordering 4 footlongs (who tried to order more but was told that would be a catering order). After that, the worker said he needed to make a different to-go order. The woman in front of us got pretty upset, as she said she’d been waiting nearly 30 minutes for a single sandwich. We were also told that he had a limited selection of toppings.
We left, went to the Subway on FM 1626 and got a sandwich very quickly. Was a real contrast in what can happen when the location is well run.

Horrible experience. They don’t even make fresh bread anymore. If they run out, that’s it. They missed up on my order in front of me. When using a coupon from the local paper to pay, they stated the GM said they no longer except coupons from the paper. I asked the worker if they can charge me for the price of the coupon and they stated they didn’t know how. They charged me full price. I asked for the GM’s/ Owners number and they stated they didn’t have it. When I left I forgot the coupon to perhaps use it at another store, they said they lost it and couldn’t find it. This shift was November 9th at 6:45pm. Hispanic male with glasses and long curly hair. The other worker was a short Hispanic female with long straight hair. This was a horrible experience.

I go out of my way to go to this subway specifically because it is the only one within a wide radius of the area that is 1) clean, 2) kind & professional, 3) food taste actually fresh! The other subways in the Kyle & Buda area do not even come close to comparing to this location. Sidney does a phenomenal job is providing genuine customer service & take the cleanliness of her store seriously and is intentional about every precaution for a clean experience from the actual sandwich making to the store itself. Sidney always has the kindest smile to greet customers and truly cares about subway as a brand! This is really something you don’t see anymore as everyone has started to accept terrible service as the norm, especially at a Subway, but Sidney makes sure hospitality is alive and well. I will always take the extra time & miles to make my purchase at this location because of all the effort that Sidney & her team puts into the store! Thanks for all your hard work Sidney!
