Ordered two 6-inch sandwiches. Told the server the lettuce was old (not rotten). She acted like she didn’t hear. The tomatoes were overly ripe. Ordered two chocolate cookies. When I returned to my office, opened the bag of cookies and one was broken. Looked in the bag for the broken piece, but no pieces were there.

I walked in to PV Subway shortly before 9pm today. Setting the tone, my car and another were the only two in the parking lot. To my knowledge there was only one employee in the store (a middle aged woman of Spanish decent by appearance) and I was the only customer. She was making an order of sandwiches for someone who had not arrived and at an overall view wasn’t going to be arriving in the store within the next 3 minutes. Which is to my point. My order was for cookies. Cookies that I saw were already made. I only wanted four. As the woman seemed to not take notice of me as she continued to make the pickup order I politely asked her if she wouldn’t mind just selling me the cookies so I could be on my way. She stated “just a minute sir while I finish this order”. Long story shortened, I waited for another minute watching her go in and out of the oven and working on two to three sandwiches at a time, again I asked, can you please just sell me the cookies so I can be on my way. She mentioned she actually believed she could be sued if the she didn’t get that order ready first-for patrons that weren’t even there. Upon leaving I told her I’ll file the complaint. She said have a good day. Unbelievable. Someone please look at the tape. I’m a US Veteran, Alumnus of the that University and an HR professional living in that area for 4 years. I cannot not name one time when that specific woman has offered minimal decent customer service. I’ve seen her numerous times and she always appears to be angry when she’s in there. Never a smile. So, I should have known better and expected less when walking in the door. I believe she is the store manager. A pro po, I’ve been a patron of many Subways across the country and I’ve never experienced one act of unkindness and inadequate customer service, such as on display this evening. Her continued inability to create an welcoming atmosphere and aura of high customer service within a community for a University and it’s patrons (longstanding over 100 years) is both unacceptable and (I believe) contrastive to what I’d hope the standards of Subway should be. Based on the rating of this store (3.7), I’m sure the census would illustrate new management is needed at that location-at minimum a relocation or releasing of the that specific employee. She picked the wrong one today. And over 4 cookies.

The place takes too much time to meet the orders. What’s the point of fast food? They took 40 min for 8 sandwiches! That too then there’s only 3 people in queue! Please hire more people on busy days!

The workers are burnt out and passive aggressive. The management need to hire better and get these women some help. It really isn’t any excuse since the university is across the street. Spend your money on the students to be helpers. I cant do it anymore. I now drive past this one to the hempstead or 2920 subways to avoid this one. It is clear the workers are terribly unhappy. I REFUSE to spend money in a place that does not take care of their staff.

This place always has 1 poor employee running around trying to take care of a line of customers and deal with online orders. That is, if this is a rare occasion where they aren’t out of a dozen ingredients. This time they actually had the ingredients but the bread was hard and stale. This location is horribly managed.

So the owner/manager discriminates against older women. Says that they would be better working at 7-11 were they don’t have to do any work. His name was Rocky. I would think twice about eating here. One day a older family member might need a job and he will turn them away and say they aren’t worth a damn. Like he did to my family.
