I ordered from Subway through DoorDash. I got two meatball sandwiches and one Philly steak bowl. The meatball sandwiches were fine and tasted good, no complaints there.

The issue was with the Steak Philly (630 cal) bowl. I asked for black pepper and selected American cheese, which came as two slices on top. When I opened the bowl, all of the black pepper had been dumped directly on top of the cheese and wasn’t mixed in at all. One entire side of the bowl was completely black from the amount of pepper.

It was so much pepper concentrated in one spot that after the first bite, I actually started choking because it was overwhelming. This wasn’t just extra seasoning, it was way too much and very unevenly placed.

I don’t mind black pepper, but it should be used in a reasonable amount and mixed properly. The bowl could have been good if it had been prepared correctly.

Food was fine. I am complaining about the older lady that works at this store. She was extremely rude to us, her co-workers and other customers. She kept leaving her work station and yelling across the store at what I assume was her family and ignoring the customers in front of her in the meantime. When we asked for her name, the other employee refused to tell us and the older woman was not wearing her name tag. Overall a very unpleasant experience for us and other people in the store at the time.

Over all I think this is a good subway. It smelled clean and was a clean environment (not immaculate) but still clean. The customer service was nice very chill guy and was patient he made sure my order was to my liking even double checking to make sure I didn’t forget anything in my order
but I think there’s room for some improvement
The veggies looked like they could be a bit fresher none of them had those plastic covers to keep them extra fresh . I recommend coming into the store to place your order for the best results
My sandwich was tasty I will be coming back to this subway

So here it is at 9:46 pm I pull up to subway may 19 2025. The sign open was on. The door was unlocked. The music was blaring as loud as it could be. Not friendly music. Some other type of crap. Here I go psyched to get a fresh sandwich after a good workout and the employee said we’re closed?!!?! I said on google it said yall close at ten. She then goes to say she’s closing early. That’s just pure lazy if I have to work hour to hour at my job then so does she and any other civilian. Then the subway uptown was closed already. Like what od waste of time even considering you all.

Chinchy! The lady was afraid to put anything on my sandwich! Asked for spinach, she laid 4 small leafs across it. I asked for black olives, she put 3 small slices. I asked for banana peppers, she laid 4 slices. What’s up with that? Dress my sandwich lady!! Are y’all afraid to use your ingredients? Confused!

The Sandwich That Tried to Fight Me (and the Other Two That Had My Back)

I ordered Subway through DoorDash on one of those quiet days when you just want something warm, tasty, and easy. I wasn’t alone—I should clarify that from the start. These sandwiches were not just for me (even though I definitely had a moment with each one). We ordered as a group, thinking, “Let’s try a little bit of everything and split it up.” So, here’s what we got:

Ultimate BMT – Footlong, hearty multigrain, toasted

Hot Honey Chicken – Footlong, hearty multigrain, toasted

Oven Roasted Turkey and Ham – Footlong, hearty multigrain, toasted

First up: the Ultimate BMT. This one disappeared fast. Bold flavors, just the right amount of crunch, and it somehow felt indulgent and comforting at the same time. Like a warm blanket that’s also a little spicy. It was a hit with all of us.

The Oven Roasted Turkey and Ham was that dependable friend who always shows up when you need them. It didn’t try to steal the spotlight, but we appreciated its simple, clean flavors. Honestly, it was perfect for the one in the group who wasn’t feeling adventurous—just a solid, satisfying classic.

And then… there was the Hot Honey Chicken.

Now, I personally wanted to try it because I’d heard the buzz. I was curious. It sounded fun. It sounded flavorful. But I didn’t realize I was signing up for a fire walk. The flavor was amazing at first—sweet and smoky with that honey glaze—but the heat? Oh, the heat came in waves. Every bite got hotter. I started feeling like I was on that YouTube show Hot Ones—except no one was asking me questions, I was just sitting there trying not to cry into a paper napkin.

My lips felt like they were growing a personality of their own. Everyone took a bite or two, but by the end, we were all a little humbled. It was spicy. Not like, “I need water” spicy. More like, “Are my lips still on my face?” spicy. We were genuinely relieved we only ordered one. Any more and someone might’ve needed a cool compress and a pep talk.

That being said—it was delicious. It really was. If you love spice and can handle some heat with your sweet, you’re in for a wild ride. But if you’ve got health issues like acid reflux, blood pressure concerns, or you’re just emotionally unprepared for a fiery journey—maybe take a gentler route.

Overall:
DoorDash delivered everything fast and fresh, no issues. Subway nailed the toast and flavors. The BMT was the star, the Turkey and Ham kept things grounded, and the Hot Honey Chicken? That one told us stories we’ll be laughing about for a while.

5 stars for flavor, fun, and a little chaos.

Would definitely order again—but we’ll bring ice water next time.

Apparently this store doesn’t know what EXTRA SAUCE means. This is the 3rd time in a row I’ve had a terrible experience at this location. Porter, is the place you want to go for subway…. Their far. But definitely worth your time/money. This location is a joke.

I can’t understand some people. I made an order online for curbside just to avoid poor communication and poor customer service. I get home with the sandwich, and it’s missing several requested items, including the bacon that’s included. I went back to the store after they failed to answer the phone a few times. I patiently go to the end of the line and wait. The short brown lady at the front very loudly and aggressively says, “What’s the problem?!” As I softly and respectfully attempt to explain to her the issues, she is rambunctious, annoyed, while clearly insulting my intelligence and gaslighting me. I can see it’s a clear attempt to upset me, and I continue to be the voice of reasoning and respect. She dropped the sandwich with my hand out and proceeded to lie and try to intensify things. She asked her associate if I was loud or rude, in which he shook his head no. Then another customer, that said, “naw, he was cool.” This angered her even more. Prompting her to just tell me to “get out.” I never lost my cool.

I ordered my regular sandwich and my brother’s regular sandwich. Mine was the Turkey and ham TOASTED. I ordered thru the app. My brother’s sandwich was right. Mine, however, was NOT. This is three times they’ve messed up my order. They put my sandwiches in the bag but did NOT add the chips I also ordered. The next time,IF there IS a next time,I will pick up my order from the subway by Walmart. You had 3 strikes and used all three.
