Employees are always complaining about being at work. Today a woman came in to “visit” whoever that was working behind the counter and the employees just stop working and start petting on this dog. It’s not like it’s a service dog, that would be different, this dog is jumping up on people, putting its feet up on the glass where the food is stored. And no one seems to have a problem with it. Thanks but I’ll pass. It’s worth the drive to the other side of town.

Another mismanaged clown show. The manager leaves the store in the hands of two newbies who don’t hardly know what’s going on, and leaves them with no available product to serve. So you better have 2-3 items you may want when ordering. I was told I couldn’t get a BMT because there was no pepperoni cut, and even though some guy who doesn’t work there came in to cut meat for them. But he was busy cutting other meats and it would be 15 minutes before he got to cutting pepperoni, so unless I changed my order, I have to wait. This same man tells me I need to be patient since the front line was new. So unless you can accept ineptness and wait 20 minutes for a sandwich, eat elsewhere

Worst Subway I have been to. The ingredients are good but the workers are never that great here in the past half year at least. Their toaster doesn’t work at this location. Going to the one on downing is so much better.

To the young man that was working alone this evening. You are amazing, I’m not sure what kind of manager has him working alone but shame on you!!! This young man deserves help, he definitely deserves a raise. And I won’t be ugly but good grief, he shouldn’t have to be running that place by himself. Not that this is going to make a difference but once again, you were amazing, you stayed so kind and did great for being so overwhelmed!!

We went in for dinner and the kid behind the counter kept taking down and and was talking quiet. It was extremely hard to hear. I had to keep leaning over the chips and putting my ear as close to the glass as possible while asking him to repeat his questions. Then, when we requested ranch, they failed to tell us that they were out of ranch. They instead used peppercorn ranch. While they may both be ranch, one has large chunks of peppercorn. Not everyone likes it.

I’m updating this review on July 6th 2024:

I’ll never come to this Subpar-way again… Their service is terrible. The app is a POS. They have messed up my order every time, but I’m here only because my 86 year old Mother wanted Subway.
I showed up because the app said that my sandwiches were ready. I walk in and tell them my name for an online order, and they said that they were just starting the sandwiches. I showed them the app said that they were ready, and instead of apologizing or saying anything about the app being stupid, they said that there were a lot of orders ahead of me.
The store was somewhat clean. There are no patrons in here except for one other snot-nose trying to tell me why my sandwiches weren’t ready, and his opinion of what’s wrong with the app.

My sandwich bread, Italian Herb and Cheese, was so tough, I had to tear it with my fingers. It acted as if it was yesterday’s, or the day before that, bread…

Well, where do I begin? I’ve only ordered from the app for this particular franchise. There has been a problem everytime. They have left cheese off of my sandwiches, didn’t halve them once, double charged me…
The most frustrating experience was when I ordered through the app, showed up on time at the drive thru, and the vehicle in front of me ordered, and they had them wait at the window while they prepared their order instead of having them pull forward and letting other customers go through the line. I received my order 13 minutes after I had arrived.
I will start visiting the other Subway in town. Hopefully it’s not the same owner. I’ve complained through their website before and haven’t heard anything back.
I STILL haven’t had my double-charge taken care of yet, even used Twitter for help.
Order at your own risk. Maybe these mistakes were a fluke one-off, but I’ll be going to the other Subway in Downing or inside Walmart.
