This location in the Plaza next to Our Lady of the Lake has changed owners & management. Unfortunately this has led to RUDE employees and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. Most of the staff that I have gotten to know have quit….and for good reason. I have been going to this spot for years as I work in the Medical Plaza. I will not be going back unless the previous owner comes back. Avoid this place.

On Dec 30, 2022 these people are closed saying it’s a holiday. It is not the holiday today and it won’t be observed until Monday Jan 2. Rude rude rude, sarcastic woman harshly and humiliatingly told me they were closed for the holiday. Broad daylight, at lunch time on a day that is not a holiday but the rude disgusting person cited that it is a holiday. Why? All the other subways are open . Whoever owns this subway hopefully knows about this rude disgusting employee. And regrets closing on a non holiday.

I was standing at the door waiting for them to open at their listed time, only to have an employee fling open the door and announce that, “We don’t open on time on Monday,. Everything has to be done.” I asked what time they opened, and she said she had NO idea. None? Really?! Stunning . . .

I love this location! The ladies who work here are sweethearts! They are welcoming. They make recommendations. They make a mean breakfast and lunch! If you want a great meal made by a welcoming group of ladies, this is your place!!
