I’ve been going to this location ever since the one by McNeese stopped taking expired coupons and it’s a shame because they had excellent service too. Every time I have been to this location they always have a single employee working the lunch rush. The owner needs to hire more people, because every time I come, customers walk out because the line is too slow. This time the employee was obviously very inexperienced, and the time before it seemed like the employee was about to have a breakdown.

The coupon scanner was busted so they couldn’t take my coupon. I only ever go to subway with a coupon because the sandwiches are not worth the price without a coupon. A 6 inch with two pieces of bacon is not something they should sell at regular menu price; it’s a scam. Because the employee was so new, she couldn’t do a price override and give me the value of my coupon even with a manager on the phone. I begrudgingly paid for the sandwiches because they were for my mom; if it were just me, I would have left them with 2 unpaid sandwiches.

The employee gave me backtalk because she didn’t like the way I handed over my cash (between my index and middle fingers). I’d probably act rude to customers too if I was forced to work the lunch rush by myself. She looked pretty young so I wouldn’t be surprised if this was her first customer service role.

Stop trying to skimp out on labor and put some experienced employees on shift. Lake Charles has a billion subways as is, and people are not obliged to come to this clown show. Next time, I’ll go to the Lake St. one or the one by Albert-son’s. Or maybe, I’ll just stop going to subway altogether because the sandwiches are hardly worth what they are, even with a coupon.

Never since I started eating at Subway in the late 90’s have I ever had such a sad little sandwich. Never have I had my roasted chicken ground or shredded into cat food. Never have I not had the chicken drenched in sweet onion sauce. Instead, I have two scant squirts on dry bread. I have about 2 banana peppers and a few pieces of red onion. This is the saddest little sandwich ever.

I ordered myself a salad from here, and boy, was it filling!! I added tuna on top, and it really made it taste great. The person who made my salad was very sweet and helped me pick out my ingredients.. I’ll definitely be returning to this location in the future.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience was just so infuriating. I go to this subway all the time and I don’t know if the guy making my sandwich was new or just dense, but he was putting the bare minimum of product on my sandwich. I asked for black olives he put three olives, and when I asked for more, he told me that three olives was the policy for a 6 inch sandwich, so I mentioned that other subway workers usually put a handful on. He called them stupid. I am so displeased, and I will be going to other subways from now on.
