I have been going to this location for years. Lately, the service has been horrible. I’ve never felt the need to leave a review, but my last experience took the cake. Website AND sign on door says closes at 9p. I guess, the employees can’t read. I pulled up at 7:58p, the girl saw and went in the back. I went in anyway. Guess she was waiting me out because I stood there for 4 min. I noticed the counter was almost empty and what remained was already stacked and ready to be put away. She came out and asked me what kind of sandwiches I wanted. I told her I needed 3 and the type. She went to the back AGAIN to tell who I guess was the manager (I assume because she was the older one). Maybe she had to decide if they were going to service me or not. They both came out this time and my, my, if looks could kill, lol. Anyway, they tried acting like they didn’t have the bread I wanted, but they did. Tuna? No. Meatball? No. I settled for cold cut and had to tell the young girl THREE times that I wanted double meat on one of them. During this, the older one pulls out her phone to check the time and tells who I assume is one of their boyfriends- because he always sitting in there- to lock the door. I looked at my phone. It was 8:14p. Several people pulled up and tried to come in and the older one was saying “you can turn around” and doing the hand across the neck gesture and saying “we closed.” They both were laughing about it and the older one said “I don’t care.” Well that was evident. As for the condiments and toppings. There was enough mayo and mustard put on the first sandwich for all three! Disgusting! So I asked for little on the next one and she barely put any that time I had to ask for more. They were upset that they had to go in the refrigerator and get toppings that they had already put up. The ridiculous amount of toppings my husband took off his sandwich could’ve made a side salad. See picture. They told me there were no more onions. And after the sandwiches were made, the older one said they were out of bags which she was clearly lying by the way the younger one looked at her. They didn’t want to go get them out the back. If I wasn’t so tired from work, I would’ve left those sandwiches right there on the counter. I had to ask the “boyfriend” to unlock the door and let me out. Through all the BS, I didn’t realize until I got home that I had to cut the sandwiches in half myself! I saved my receipt. Seriously thinking about calling corporate. This location has gone DOWN! The older one needs to go back to the hair supply store. She was more pleasant selling bundles.

Employees behind the counter couldn’t be more depressed and enthusiastic. The employee made the wrong sandwiches instead of clarifying. The other employee steadily chewing gum at the counter. Cashier was the only reason they got 2 starts instead of 1.

I think I chipped a tooth on their bread! I’ve worked subway before and know this is one to two day old bread. Service wasn’t spectacular

Lady was real nice. I always forget to get the names. Food was good. The only thing negative was that the bread was tough. I couldn’t just bite through it.

i just left from over there and the woman said they was closed and it was only 9:40. I feel like that’s false advertising because if y’all close at 9:40 why does it say 10? Most establishments close at the time they say they close. and save the merchandise right after they close. Everyone is a valued customer, no one should be turned away because someone is trying to leave early or exactly at 10.

Super long wait because they only had 1 person. She stopped mid way making my order and I guess forgot about it (online order). Took almost an hour to get 3 sandwiches because of this. Online ordering should be disabled when they don’t have the staff to handle it. I felt bad for her even though I was also frustrated. She didn’t have a line, but steady had 1 other person inside ordering. We were outside 20 mins past the expected ready time (so 35 mins outside) before going in. Almost no meat on the subs but way too much sauce. Im sure she was stressed though, but I also feel there could have been so much improved.

It was 8pm. Walked in. Manager yelled at the staff because “you should’ve locked the doors”. They don’t close till 9pm. The person who made the food was nice and polite, but the lady who rung us up asked me 3 times with attitude what I had, because she was in the back the entire time. The food wasn’t very good, but this wasn’t even closing time. The worker who made the food was great, but the manager was sure that we knew we weren’t welcome, the entire experience was awful and I doubt I’ll ever go back. There’s plenty of other subways that could do better. Don’t waste your time.

I’m went to the Subway on May 20th, 2024, which is located in Walmart in Opelousas, Louisiana and will NEVER return!!! A female was leaning over the counter and would not acknowledge that I was there. I asked, “Are you open” and she begrudgingly replied, “Yeh”. She was having a conversation on her IPhone that I obviously interpreted, in which she showed her displeasure with my presence. She said, “What do you want”. I asked for a teriyaki chicken wrap. She placed the chicken ingredients on a bread instead. I respectfully informed her that I had previously asked for a wrap and she relied, “All we have is bread”. I accepted this. I asked for a broccoli and cheese soup also. The soup was solidified and appeared very old. I couldn’t eat it and discarded it. The personnel there do NOT want to be there and I will NEVER be there again. Shame on them for being ugly and not doing what they are paid to do. Again, never again!!!
