short version: the server did not prepare my order correctly, the owner (via phone), told me the server could not issue a refund and when I asked him how I would be accommodated, his answer was “my lost”… I was shocked and challenged his answer he basically let it be known he has owned that store since the 90s and he ain’t worried about my little $9 ♀️ Lakeshore/Oak Harbor Blvd location. Owner named Jack. I could not eat it due to the saturation of grease (plus the topping was incorrect)… And I didn’t want money back, originally, I just wanted my food redone… but now of course I’m going to request my $9 and he hasn’t been there for me to get it, gone back twice ♀️

Below the line the review was posted 5 years ago & as of January 2023 I cannot upgrade my opinion of this Subway. Actually, I might have taken away additional stars, if there were any available. This place is a mile or two from my house, but it is consistently bad. I’ve hardly eaten at any subway since the last review because this one can swear you off Subway all together. The quality of the food is utterly horrendous. Then you don’t get enough of anything on the sandwich – both ends of my sandwich & good portion of the outer edge throughout the rest is empty. The meats look old & definitely not well kept. The veggies are wilted & soft & in many cases brown (limp & brown lettuce; soft tomatoes; limp onion even) so anything but fresh. Honestly I’m scared of getting sick here. The employees here are nice enough but really do the bare minimum of anything. It is very concerning to me that this place is still open.

I’ve been here four or five times, because it is a mile from my house, so this review is based on my average opinion – not one visit. The bread has been repeatedly undercooked & it’s not made to an average Subway’s standard. I added a picture of the bread & I got the cheesy kind but it has no cheese on the top. The toppings are also consistently old & below standard as well. It’s also overpriced compared to other Subways, then won’t allow for Subway specials. My opinion… keep driving to the next Subway. This was my last time.

i walked in by accident but was met by two incredible team members , layla and kiah (i hope i spelled the names correctly!). i ended up buying a sandwich and had one of the best experiences there , which is funny because i never eat at places like this. will start to come more often, thanks to them. who would’ve thought a gas station subway would make me write a whole review lol

I’ll NEVER eat at subway again thanks to this location!!! My bread was toasted but it wasn’t left in long enough so it just tasted stale instead. I ended up paying $18.45 for 1 steak and cheese (NO TOPPINGS) SUB!!!! I KNOW PRICES WENT UP BUT WTH!!!

I ordered a Philly and was given a garlic Philly no cheese and she wanted to argue what a Philly was when it is on the menu black and white. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! This is not the first issue here. I’ll eat pizza out of the gas station before I eat here again! And I believe I was overcharged but communication is difficult with the owners.

I’m from Alabama and was on the way home from New Orleans and stopped at the Circle K to get gas. We decided to grab some subway from the conjoining building. We were welcomed in by the sweetest lady ever, and she recommended some of the items that made their subway unique. They have brisket, hamburger, and even smoked sausage. I hadn’t been to a subway in a really long time; this made me want to start going back often. I’m unfamiliar with the lady’s name, but she did a fantastic job and I almost want to drive 2 hours back here just to give her business.

The two ladies working tonight (I believe they both went to Slidell High based off of their shirts) were Amazing! The store was so clean and I didn’t expect to be greeted and treated so well from a Subway in a has station. This was Definitely such a treat. And the subs were really good too.

I’m a truck driver… I just want a sandwich but the 2 “adult Men” That were going to be my sandwich craftsmen, they were too busy talking on the phone using their Air pods and talking to each other to get any part of my order correct… I also used Google translate just to see if they were being racist towards me so y’all… Just be careful if you get food from these childish grown men
