Tried again this morning and needless to say, both breakfast steak flatbreads were rolled instead of folded (as the app menu clearly shows). When asked to fold it like it should have been, the lady at the counter was rude and said “they’re just like the wraps and this is how they’re made” and continued to argue.
While it may not seem like a large issue, it wasn’t what was ordered, it wasn’t made properly and the person working was argumentative.
We will continue to eat at Chadron or Bridgeport until decent management can take over at Alliance. We truly used to love this subway, it’s a shame to see it continuing with incompetence.
I know that Rhonda is back and she does a great job managing this store but when she isnt there. Most the mistakes on my orders is at night when there is not a manager there.
So in a nutshell I paid $16 for a protein bowl that had the Chipotle sauce I requested not to be included and was told to WASH IT OFF FOR $15.99. I didnt want to complain, errors happen we are all human. But it was the response I received, being told they did not want to get in trouble for fixing a customer’s order that got me. Usually the mistakes are minimal like wrong bread/ condiments not toasted or veggies.
I have a history of making orders where ingredients are missing, lacking, and outright out of stock (of my 4 visits, I’ve had to adjust my order due to at least one item out of stock each time) here as well as absurdly long wait times. This seems to be an issue that extends beyond what management should be able to remedy and has not.
On my final order here today, I completed my order and the price was given around $13 upon completion. When I arrived at the window, I was informed that the cookies were out of stock. I didn’t mind, they were unnecessary so I asked to leave them out. Upon payment I realized that my order now cost closer to $18. Why? It was no longer a combo so the amount was changed to the maximum of individual prices: the 12 in sub and the Medium drink….. I guess? So I paid the full $2 (menu said .30 cents) for the drink in addition to the sub. As if that weren’t ridiculous, the “small” amount of jalapenos I requested amounted to about 2 slices per half of the sub. I had a similar issue in the past where extra cheese resulted in 1 half a slice more than the two on the sandwich.
I did not make a fuss, the staff is young and the real issue is their clear lack of proper training. I paid the stupid amount extra as I justified the sudden price increase- that is on me. I also returned to this place multiple times despite the repeat issues… that is also on me.
I strongly recommend a hard look at the staff training and communication, the available stock of ingredients, and the overall consistency of proportions- until I see a string of positive reviews, I will not likely return.
