This is an update from my previous review which was a higher rating. This place has gone to h*ll. It started nice, within a few months it was sliding downhill, now its bad every single time i come here. I have been reading other recent reviews and they are right. How difficult is it to keep stuff in stock to make sandwiches at a sandwich shop, seriously? I asked for two different breads and they didn’t have them at dinner time. I asked for two meatball subs, they were out of meatballs and 530pm on a Sunday. I asked for a Steak and cheese and i was told they didn’t have any of the meats ready. I finally got disgusted with the utter incompetence and lack of preparation and walked out. Actual score is Negative 1 Star. I have also written a letter to the corporate office including pics of filthy tables, a girl making a sandwich without gloves and napkins holders that were completely empty among other things. Maybe this place will start caring when corporate gets ahold of them or customers simply stop spending money here and it ends up costing more to pay the rent on this place than it makes. I guess you have one claim to fame…i posted pics on social media and you have the distinction of being in the TOP 3 most worthless SUBWAYS in Topeka. Congrats.

7/22/25 11:00. Ordered the Boss!! Pepperoni and Meatball!! The veggies were fresh but the meatballs were ICE COLD! Absolutely disappointing I paid $16 for another crummy Subway!!! It’s definitely my own fault for stopping here!!! Restaurant was clean!! I said something nice!

Beware! They sell old cookies here…and just about every other Subway, as well. I go in and order a sub…no problem, that was delicious. But they have a cookie cabinet and the chocolate chip cookies looked as fresh as I’ve ever seen, so I order three cookies, thinking that I’ll get what’s in the cabinet….WRONG! Bait and switch, the lady put some 2 day old pre-packaged cookies in my bag. Never again, this is not isolated, it happens at every subway. Never again will I order your old, nasty cookies.

My daughter and I had been traveling all day and at 10pm on 6/14, we had stopped here to get something to eat. We walked up to the counter and the worker threw an attitude slammed the dishes and she mumbled under her breath. She then said how can I help you. I replied we are just going to go somewhere else and walked out.

The food is good but for being a gas station subway they are slower than the regular subway. I was in a hurry and was a bit anxious to see how calmly and taking all her time was the lady doing my sandwich. It came out perfectly though, but still, maybe up a notch on the speed.

just spoke with a guy at the truckstop about subway. we agreed to leave reviews in the hopes that someone will actually care enough to get their act together and hire staff that can accomplish tasks and get this place back on track. there is a new truck stop opening on I-70 and we will gladly go there if things do not change. keep food in stock, keep to go subs in the truck stop like you’re supposed to, keep bread made and ready, keep ingredients stocked and hire knowledgeable staff that doesnt have to share dentures.

5 days in a row…no meatballs, no steak for sandwiches, no roast beef up front, out of 3 different breads, no subway2go sandwiches on the main floor…etc.. etc.. etc..This place is terrible. this place has 20 reviews as of this and 6-7 of them are 1 star reviews followed by many other 2 stars and this place still wont fix the issues, think about that for a minute. They dont care about their own reviews and reputation, do you really think they care about proper food handing, preparation and service?.
