I sent a friend to get me a 5 meat Italian WITH coupon, which should be roughly around $9. The young man took the order, KNOWING about the coupon, he ignored the $7.99 coupon and charged my friend $14.69 for the coupon special $7.99. I paid with a $20, got $4.07 back.
See I don’t like being scammed out of money. If I could rate ZERO stars I would.
Either run the business like it should be, or close it down! This makes the second time this subway stole money from me.

If I could leave zero stars I would, but I had went in around lunch time to get a sub and went straight to the counter where the employees were at because I assumed that’s where I needed to go and it was my first time in this subway specifically so I wasn’t sure. But immediately one of the employees were like “if you want a sub the foods over here” rudely like I was dumb for going where they were to start my order. And that kind of threw me off right away, but as the second employee starts making my sandwich she just seems kind of out of it and just throwing my stuff together in a weird order which I thought your choice of meat went on first and not the cheese but its all good. But I will not be returning to this location.

So recently I decided to grab some subway. I had gotten some coupons in the mail and times are tough right now, so i decided I should use the opportunity to use them. I went over to the subway on Paris rd and to my shock there was a paper taped to the door saying, “No use of coupons on weekdays”.
Which I’m not gonna get into all that but that’s absolutely ridiculous. So with the intent to still use my coupons I tried calling other locations. Again to my surprise when calling the number for this location I was met with scam calls! I called 3 different times just to be sure. Each time a automated male or female voice spoke. All trying to give away “free gifts”. Not to mention the last call was very concerning in my opinion as it was clear whoever set this up was targeting the elderly! They were asking information about age and trying to get “data” for they’re so called medical system!

Stopped for lunch on 7/16/2024 at about 1:08 pm, husband ordered the footlong boss sandwich for our dine in meal. Half it went on the floor when he was holding the 7 month old. He told the worker, threw away the half and she made a new boss 6 inch for him. He brought, wrapped, heated it up, and upon eating it a hard piece of substance was in the meatball. Have photos but Google won’t let me upload. Still have sandwich and product found inside. Message for pics, please don’t eat.

I had a coupon for buy a footlong get one free. As soon as I walked in theres a sign about coupons that states because of staff shortages my coupon was only good for buy one get $4 off the other one. I dont know what having staff shortages has to do with not getting one free but I took the deal. Sandwiches were good. Plenty on both but they didnt give me the $4 off. There was an uncomfortable feeling as soon as I walked in and got worse as I was waiting to get out of there. Not sure what that was. So..so much for your coupons if you’re looking to use one.

Atmosphere: The main thing I noticed about this location was all the crumbs. There wasn’t an area to sit that didn’t have crumbs on the table waiting to greet you. This was even when the place wasn’t very busy, and the staff could have had time to wipe down the tables.
Other than that, there was plenty of seating to be had and the chairs were comfortable.
Atmosphere: 3/5
Staff: Overall, the employees here were efficient, prompt, and courteous. They also seemed dog-tired and like having to interact with another customer might be too fatiguing to see through to the end of the transaction.
Staff: 4/5
Food: The quality of the sandwich depends on who is making it. It also depends on how busy they are. I got the Veggie Delite twice (both times with all the same toppings). One time it was a prefect flavor combination. At this time, there was only one other customer there. The other time Subway was rather busy, and the Veggie Delite was mediocre.
Food: 3/5

If I could give zero stars, I would. The employee insulted me the entire time I ordered, dispite me saying nothing other than what I wanted on the sandwich. She was super nice to the lady behind me though, maybe she just didn’t like how I looked? Never left a review for any place before, but you couldn’t pay me to put up with that again.

These are a few of my favorite things: (1) Walking in 2 days in a row expecting to enjoy a meatball sub, only to hear they didn’t have meatballs. (2) Walking in 2 times in 1 week looking forward to having a tuna sub on white bread, only to hear that they didn’t have white bread. (3) Standing at the counter for 10 minutes because the only employee there couldn’t get the cash register open. I finally said, “Can I just have my food?” I ate my food and paid for it with exact change because the employee still couldn’t get the cash register open when I was ready to leave. (4) Watching your food being made by someone whose teeth are black. Thank God for clear plastic gloves. All I could do was hope she didn’t breathe on my food. (5) Occasional rudeness by one of their managers. (6) Walking up to the counter and starting to place my order, only to have the woman at the counter cut me off with, “Hold up” or “Wait a minute'” or something equally offensive.
I don’t think I’ll go back to this Subway anytime soon, if ever. When have you ever gone to McDonald’s and had them tell you they couldn’t give you what you asked for because they didn’t have the ingredients? But that’s exactly what happens here on a routine basis. After I complained about this store to Subway’s website I got an email from the manager. I sent her 2 messages and never heard back from her. If this place wasn’t so close to the University of Missouri, it would’ve gone out of business a year ago. It stays afloat because each year there’s a new crop of freshmen who haven’t experienced the horrible service of this Subway. They offset the ones who get tired of this place. But their luck probably won’t last forever. If enough people get tired of this place and start telling everyone they know how bad it is, it may finally get the burial it deserves.
