I ordered Subway tonight on their app and went and picked them up from the Raytown store. I got home and unwrapped them and were shocked as the buns were burned to a crisp! We asked for them to be toasted but seriously??
They were so badly burned we couldn’t eat them on top of the fact both were made incorrectly! I called them and they said there was nothing they could do to refund my money. I told them I couldn’t believe they saw how badly it was burned and wrapped it and sent it out the door. She then hung up on me!

We then wrapped them up and went back to the store. Waited our turn,as they glared at us, and showed them the sandwiches and asked for a manager. She said she would help us in a minute. She the told us she was the one that wrapped it and saw nothing wrong with it. She said this was what wheat bread
looks like!!!
I then told her that I’m sure she would be proud if I sent her handiwork to corporate at which time she accused ME of burning the bread!!!
I must refer back to the fact that wheat bread normally looks like this. Remember?
After she accused me of burning the bread, I was done! We left the sandwiches on the table and walked out the door. I then walked back to the door to see if there was a phone number of a manager or corporate number and they ran wildly to lock the door like I was going to do something to them. We had given them no reason to think we were a threat at all. We are both in our mid 70’s and pose no threat to them. Following you will see the pathetic sandwiches I have discussed. I am venting because I am tired substandard product and service and this is makes me feel better I suppose. This occurred Thursday evening, May 29, 2025 at 6:00pm. At the Raytown store.

Wednesday night a little after 6pm and there was a bit of a rush for the 2 girls working. They were friendly, seemed to stay calm with more and more ppl coming in, and worked fast. Just find it odd that management feels the need to number their cups and limit the amount of napkins for customers. But those girls did great, keep up the great work.

The worker was very nice and my sandwich had lots of veggies on it it was very good alot of other subways put very little veggies on it but not the subway in Raytown they put lots of veggies so it was so great I will be going back again

Dear God, probably one of the worst subway experiences I’ve ever had. And looking at the reviews, something has gone seriously awry at this location. I’m not sure whether it’s management or staff but when I went on a Tuesday night, they were out of everything. They completely disregarded a guy who had either called an order or order through his app, they clearly didn’t have his order completed and instead of working on it, completely disregarded him. He went outside in his car. The four of us inside waiting for our food waited for absolutely forever, and I don’t wanna say the workers were rude, they just seem to know they we’re slow and didn’t have anything we wanted and just seemed more flippant than anything, which is disappointing. Meanwhile after 25 minutes (yes I was still waiting in line), the dude in the car comes back in, the lady behind the counter basically ignored him. I finally got my food. I have no clue whether he did. And I don’t know what the hell was going on with the bread, but we opened our sandwiches up in the car and when we took a bite of the bread, it crumbled into dust all over the car. Honestly, it was just ludicrous. Unfortunately, for them, there is a perfectly legitimate and clean, respectful Jimmy John’s across the street. The recent negative reviews and the sheer amount of failures here suggests management but what do I know. I’m not giving this review to bring them down, but for management to read they need to do better. You have issues with staff, speed, customer service, inventory and food quality. Do better.

Came in store at 8:15 pm sandwich maker was sooo rude. Mumbling and not speaking in full sentences. Seemed annoyed. Kept shouting for someone to come help her make sandwiches. Ingredients were ran down or missing all together.

i recently visited your location and was assisted with very rude customer service by your clerk.

did not fill valued as a customer at all. i asked for a number 42 with chicken and asked could she toast it. she told me NO I SHOUDL OF ORDERED SOMETHING ELSE. every time i have visited subway they have toasted my order. she told me no because she already warmed my chicken up what a lousy excuse.

customer comes first i was not rude or disrespectful but this situation should be visited.

was not happy employee wouldn’t give her name i asked for GM name and store manager name.

I went to this place not expecting to be surprised. I was going to order, eat my sandwich and go on my way, that’s it. The lady there asked me “for here or to go” and I said “for here”. She then placed my sandwich in a plate with the subway wrapping and napkins. I was amezed by that, I really loved the gesture and the extra steps she had taken to please customer like me. It was a really nice touch to eat my sandwich from a plate. She did go above and beyond!!
