They canceled every order I tried to place using the sub club deals, even though I had bought two full-price subs from here previously. They also DO NOT participate in the promotions that their Google page says they do. This establishment is clearly using false advertising to lure customers in and refuse to honor the deals that are advertised on this particular subway’s ad page.
As for the food, it always seemed a little old and EVERYTHING was skimped on, even the veggies. The only reason I came back is so that I could earn my last stamp and use it for a free sub so that I got something decent from this location. Nope -they canceled and refused to honor the sub club, which is not optional gor franchisees.
This has been reported to Subway corporate, the Illinois consumer protection division, and the department of health

Spinach was NOT fresh very slimy I had to pick off pieces off the sandwich. I am pregnant and they limited me on how many black olives they put on the sandwich. I didn’t even have meat or cheese so a few more black olives would balance that in my opinion. My exact sandwich costs about $6 at another subway and here it is $9 and something. So I will NOT be going here again. I have been going to Subway my whole life – not this exact location – and I will never bring my family to this location. I do not recommend. I just hope I don’t get sick.

Very horrible service. The manager/owner started yelling at us when we asked for veggies on our pizza. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service not to mention I’m nine months pregnant and he literally was yelling belligerently at me and my boyfriend. The fact that my parents don’t even yell at me like this, but he thought he had the right and nerve to talk to me a customer, a PAYING customer like this….right. First, he told us that we have to pay for veggies when it clearly says on the sign veggies are free. My boyfriend proceeded to tell him that he used to work at Subway and he knows that veggies are free. This man started yelling at us telling him he never worked at Subway and he’s a liar. He also proceeded to say, don’t ever come back to my store leave right now and don’t refund them their money. I am appalled that someone can talk to a customer like this. It was very disappointing and stressful event when we just wanted a foot long and a pizza. I will never be coming back to this location and I suggest you find a different location as well. Very hostile ambience.

They totally rip you off on ingredients! I placed a mobile order and when I got home, I was so upset. I ordered a steak and cheese foot-long and the sandwich was all bread hardly any steak or cheese. Don’t waste your money here.

There was a sign stating “show you have a coupon BEFORE ordering”. So I held it up (2 foot longs for 12.99) and ordered 1 ft long sweet onion chicken sandwich and a for long friendly. The guy apparently didn’t see it and made a big stink about it even though I read the fine print which said no new sandwiches or delux rounds, which I didn’t get. The oldest guy was really rude and only gave the the discount when I said I would call corporate to ask if this coupon was for certain sandwiches ornot. Clearly a cheap guy trying to penny pinch.

Just go to one of the other locations in Oswego, the one inside the Walmart is the best in my opinion.
As others have said, the owner (the old man who doesn’t have basic manners) never gives enough meat on the sandwiches. If you order online, your food will be terrible because they know you aren’t there to watch them make it. We ordered two foot longs, they came with 1/3 of the meat. We asked for light mayo and both sandwiches were absolutely drenched in mayo, as if to punish us for using a coupon.
Save yourself the headache and just go to a different location.

Worst Subway in the area. Avoid at all costs. They are penny pinchers, stingy, and scam artists. If you order online, they will make sure you have 2 slices of meat and all vegetables – as if you ordered a veggie sandwich. They purposely don’t answer the phone because they know they’re in the wrong. I truly don’t understand how this location is still open.

Subway in general has become very disappointing. They barely give you any meat and doesn’t seem to be as fresh as it used to be. However, this location is different. They actually took the time to explain which items were eligible on the coupons. The sandwiches were good, although a little sparse. It was definitely a good deal for the price, though. Definitely recommended thus location.

Beware CHECK YOUR RECEIPT
Over charged us, cancelled or points from being entered. Only noticed after checking receipt and App that these actions were taken. Bread was old, other than that service was fine. Employee refunded over charge, but had to manually enter and request points in App, because of their mistake. Offered no apology for either mistake, once they were made aware.
