We got there just a few minutes before they closed. Maps said they closed at 10, but they closed as soon as they were done making our order at 9:05. Staff was very kind, especially considering they were ready to close.

Usually a fast food place is 2/3 star tops. This subway actually makes the sandwich like they were made 20 years ago. The chicken was fresh, they didn’t short me on cheese, veggies, or dressing. They marked all my sandwiches without asking. The place was well staffed and clean. Keep in mind this was all during Sturgis when they were slammed with customers.

Asked the price of a foot long and was told $9.99. (6″ was 7.99). I asked if I could get a foot long, but could I do half one kind & half another kind. They said I could do that. (No mention that if I did, they’d charge me for two 6″). I did order half one kind, half another and they changed me for two 6″ subs. When I asked about the pricing of $15+ , and that it should be the foot long price of $9.99 like he told me, he then told me that since I had 2 different kinds of sandwiches, it was the 6″ price. If I was told that in the beginning, I wouldn’t have had a problem with the pricing, but since he didn’t, I was upset of the bait and switch. He did take 10% off of one of the sandwiches ($.80) to try and appease my annoyed reaction to the bill. I should have left the sandwiches and refused the purchase, but I didn’t think of that in the moment. The sandwiches were fine, though.
