2nd time in 2 weeks. Order through the app. The store is locked. How about disabling online ordering when the store is locked?Do better or just close this down permanently. Jimmy John’s would never. What a joke!!!

Where did the new manager go? There were 2 young gentlemen I would enjoy visiting while I was getting my sandwich made daily. I have not seen them in a few days. He was an amazing young man and had the store running great. Joey was the other young guy who worked there and was there constantly and now I have not seen him. Where did all your good staff go?

So incredibly disappointed in our small town Subway! After completing an order through the app at 1220pm, I arrived at the indicated time (1240pm) to pick up my subs. The store was busy, but I had previously called to make sure my order was received and that it would be ready at 1240. My husband ran in to grab the subs at 1246pm. They were not ready. I told him I was going to drop our daughter off as she was in the parade, and I would be back to grab him. After I returned to pick him up at 1255pm, they were still not ready. He told them we would stop back after the parade and grab them. The parade lasted 1.5 hours. We returned to subway for the third time to discover that the subs were ready. He grabbed them off the table (should have been the first red flag, but he was hot and wanted to head home). When we got home (a 15min drive) we were more then ready to eat. Unfortunately the subway had left the subs out the entire time of the parade. I find it hard to believe that they wouldn’t have had the decency to put it in the fridge after he indicated that he would be back! But further more the order was on wrong bread – EveryOne! The tuna was warm and beginning to stink, and the cheese was completely melted! When I called, they “manager” told me I could request a refund on the app, however after 10 frustrating minutes, of not finding where to request a refund, I googled it…it states that refunds are processed by the individual stores!! The icing on this cake is that it is my birthday today. The order stated a birthday cookie. I realized this is not a priority, but how do you not try to make it better when your customers have an important event?

So for the reasons listed above, I had to leave a one star review. I know everyone is going to ‘apps’ and there are some good ones, but unfortunately unless you are able to stand and monitor your food at this Subway, I would discourage friends from going there. The town of St. Charles has too many other eateries ready to earn your business!

Our family went to have lunch. We had to wait about 20 minutes with no other people in line because they were doing DoorDash orders first, that’s what the young man told us. Then another gentleman arrived to get lunch and the young man said the same thing again. The gentleman turned around and said ( well that’s ridiculous I don’t have an hour to wait). He walked out. I noticed that another older man was working in the back he would peek his head out the corner but never came out to help the young man that was making all the subs by himself, another young man showed up to work and he also did not bother helping the guy out. When it came time for us to order I was told kids meals are only for online orders. I did not see any notes anywhere that said that. Then my son noticed the meatballs are mini meatballs compared to what they used to be about a month ago. Needless to say we only got the subs and it was almos $50 for 3 foot longs and 6 inch subs. They also do not accept any coupons because of the remodeling done to the building, that was said to me by another worker. It was clean this time compared to so many other times.

I had ordered 2 platters for me to pick up on Saturday at 11:00 am. I arrived at Subway around 11:10 to pick up the platters (I was playing in a volleyball tournament, so needed to have ready when I got there); Arrived there, there were 3 workers, one worker was helping the 2 people in front of me, the other 2 were just standing around and never asked if they could help me. The worker finished with the sandwich order in front of me. Then asked if needed help, I said I was there to pick up my to go order, she said, oh, we just started that, it will be a couple of minutes. They had not even started on my platters, so I ended up waiting, one of the workers did apologize for the wait, then I said, I ordered this to be done at 11:00 because I am playing volleyball and I was missing some games, the lady worker, said, whoever ordered this on line said between 11 – 12, I said, I personally called and made the order and said 11, then she said she took the call and must have misunderstood me then. I walked out of Subway at 11:40. I missed playing a game of volleyball due to this (luckily we had enough players to play without me). To say the least, very disappointed in my order not even being started until I arrived and having the lady worker (I believe her hat said assistant manager) stating the person that ordered this on line did it wrong (when I personally called, then she said she took the call and misunderstood). Asked if we would get a discount for the long wait for my order, was told they could not do that.

How hard is it to make a sandwich? I placed an online order and waited 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready to get it. It’s seriously like watching the scene in Zootopia at the DMV with the sloths!

Although the food is great, the service is TERRIBLE. Whenever we go into the store, the workers seem like they don’t want to be there, and do the bare minimum. We were using a gift card (this was a brand new card), but the machine wasn’t reading it. All the workers would do it is say oh it doesn’t work, and continued to tell us the price without attempting to try other ways to process the card. Very unimpressed with how the Workers handle the building.

I ordered 2 items. 1 sandwich. 1 soup. The soup I wanted there wasn’t enough to make a full cup. Was offered half of 1 kind half of other. Went to pay in cash, and they didn’t even have the correct change. (Good thing it was only a penny) employees seemed ok, weren’t to friendly like other locations.
