Yeah I dont know man. I wanna give the place the benefit of the doubt, but 3 times we’ve been here with less than desirable experiences.
Just picked up a sandwich as I walked in.I was asked if i’m picking up an order. In the middle of saying, yes, my wife placed an order, an older dude had said, well, you already walked past them.They’re right there. Three employee is all chit, chatting.One sitting down at a table. At least the lady working told me to have a nice day.
The previous time we came in.I needed to just pick up a sandwich. I was asked to wait just a few minutes. I ended up waiting thirty minutes while they fixed up an order for somebody who didn’t even arrive by the time.I was ready to place my order. One guy picking up one sandwich versus like twenty sandwiches being made.
First time we went, the employee just weren’t friendly at all.
I think my wife and I will be heading to the one on the other side of town

Terrible atmosphere here. Very antisocial staff, unfriendly. I stood in front of a guy with my kid for a good 5-10 minutes while he was working on what i assume was an online order. I dont mind waiting, but he didnt even look at us or say hi or “be with you in a minute” or anything resembling treating my son and I like poeple. There were 3 others too standing around that I feel like they could have taken our order?? They were doing nothing. Also anytime they were asking us what we want they would very aggressively be like “what do u want” with out smiling or anything. My little son wanted to try being independent and order for himself and they were really impatient and unfriendly with him too. We were the ONLY customers there. I would have told him he can try ordering himself another time if there had been other customers behind us but there was not. When we went, my son asked me if he did it wrong and made them mad, and asked me if they hated us. I have to wonder the same thing. Food was mid too.

HOLMEN SUBWAY REFUSES TO HONOR NATIONAL COMMERCIAL PROMOS OR LOCAL NEWSPAPER COUPONS!!! I’m not talking about the 3 most expensive sandwiches like “The Beast” that are understandably excluded in the fine print on the physical coupon itself. Basic sandwiches like steak and chicken are excluded according to them…

THEY POSTED A SIGN SHOWING THE HANDFUL OF KINDS THEY “ALLOW” THE COUPONS TO BE USED FOR! What a joke! THE LIST THEY ALLOW IS SHORTER THAN THE LIST OF EXCLUSIONS!!! BASICALLY THE WHOLE MENU!

It’s ridiculous to see nationwide commercial promos and receive local printed coupons in the mail, but the 1 franchisee of all La Crosse area Subways decides they are too cheap to honor it.

HERES A WAY TO SAVE MONEY…STOP WASTING MONEY MAILING COUPON FLYERS TO EVERY RESIDENT IN HOLMEN AND THEN NOT HONORONG THEM!!!

GOOD LUCK PINCHING PENNIES WHEN YOU LOSE LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND HAVE NO REVENUE!!

THE EMPLOYEE TIM COMPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMERS WHILE MAKING THEIR SANDWICH THAT “SUBWAY BREAD HAS SO MUCH SUGAR IN IT THAT IT WOULD BE BANNED IN EUROPE AND BASICALLY SHOULDN’T BE CATEGORIZED AS GRAIN BREAD…” Dude, could you actively try any harder to drive away customers than to tell them it’s not healthy?? Isn’t Subway trying to be portrayed as the healthier option?? Tim’s attitude is terrible on multiple occasions. The older lady on Sundays yells at everyone, too.

The latest level of stupidity at the Holmen Subway is when they posted this short list of 9 “allowable sandwiches for coupons” on the drive-through ordering screen it says “Please present coupons BEFORE you start to order.” UMM, HOW CAN I PRESENT THE COUPON ON THE DRIVE-THROUGH BEFORE ORDERING? DRIVE AROUND TWICE?!!? I hit the help button and the employee told me to just come to pickup window. I asked how I could possibly present the coupon before ordering and they said, “Yeah we dont know.” She just wrote out my order on paper with pencil.

We all get inflation, but $13 for 1 footlong sandwich only, is crazy! That’s not even a combo meal with chips or a drink!

NATIONAL SUBWAY PROMOS ARE ADVERTISING $7.99 FOOTLONGS OR BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!!! PEOPLE EXPECT TO USE THE COUPONS TO BRING THE PRICES BACK TO REALITY!! THESE ARE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Drive thru is never open/working. A while ago when it was actually working one day, it was kind of busy around noon, the guy at the window doesn’t start with a “hi”, but instead “sorry for the wait, everyone in the world decided to come to our restaurant today” like… ok?

Worst service ever! I ask for a salad and the girl working at this subway told me she was to busy to make me a salad. They were out of meatballs and cookies and I wittiness an employee yell at a guy for asking to cancel an order . This place is horrible and they need to get all new staff or shout the doors.Food is gross and staff is loud and rude. 2-5/26 339pm and sold out ??

Never answer the phone when you call, even if you repeatedly try. I received someone else’s order in my bag instead of my own online order. Didn’t have time to go back to the restaurant so I had someone else’s dinner and no refund. This Subway could clearly use better employees. Nobody here seems to care about doing their job. Fantastic service at the Midway Subway, however.

I ordered my usual at the drive thru, the girl at the window was so lovely. I loved the service but they ended up messing something up on my order, i gave the store a call and let them know, they offered to remake it for me. I got there and it was done and perfect, they denied me when I tried to pay for my remake tho. The customer service here was amazing, absolutely no complaints.

This is the literal slowest drive thru ever. Usually I’m not in a hurry because I know it’s slow so normally I’m okay waiting 12-20 minutes because they order is usually correct. Yesterday they forgot to put cheese on my sub and didn’t toast it and I didn’t notice until I got home. Oh well, they were busy. The food is usually good, just don’t expect it quickly.
