I go to Subway a lot at home and on my travels. This one has consistently not been very good. The service is unusually bad no matter what time of the year I visit Eagle River. It has never been very clean and the meat and cheese is slightly below room temperature. I would avoid this Subway. I recommend the nearby St. Germain Subway. It’s one of the best I’ve been to. I wish I could say great things about this place however it’s just not possible. My wife ran subway for a long time and never did she ever have issues like this one. To the owner I think it’s time you evaluate your employees as your have some pretty hateful older women working in your establishment. They do not have a lick of customer service pushing away the residents of the town, those traveling know no better. The young kids just slap a sandwich together with next to zero care what it looks like. My steak had so many onions on it it looked like an entire onion in iitself. It’s absolutely no wonder the prices continue to rise because your cost of goods has to be out of this world high. Using gloves is a great thing however how sanitary is it to use gloves in the veggies then use them to touch the cash I gave you and turn around and go back to the veggies. I wish the owner not the manager the owner of this establishment would reach out to me because this behavior and condition has went on far to long. For the sake of this establishment I know it could be ran so much better as well as gain a few more friendly faces and smiles. A hello welcome to subway and a thank you have a nice day goes a long way when your dealing and working with the public. For your employees it’s pretty simple if you hate your job that much and hate customer service why choose that path. Take your bad MOJO and go somewhere where customers are not what is paying your pay check. Without us spending money at your place you wouldn’t have income please remember that. Attached is a photo of my second sandwich and it was the nicer of the two. Ridiculous!

I’ve been there 2 days in a row 2 different employees was not impressed with either. Their customer service pretty much sucked. Food was Mediocre As we ask for a light sauce on our meatball sub and apparently that was too much to ask.And the other sub wasn’t much better. I suppose it’s better than McDonald’s. But they surely need to improve their customer service. Truly surprised usually smaller towns have nice employees. Unfortunate for this one.

We went in excited to get sandwiches and left disappointed and unhopeful for this establishment. Very rude and unhappy employees, we said hello and not one look or answer was given. With my wife and I having experience in customer service /restaurant this was the worst. Hoping for a better outcome in the future….

I have to agree with half the other people on here the owner needs to take time to reach out to local customers and stop relying on the tourists to make his or her money. It’s time to make a change and start with the staff. They are beyond hateful and rude. My daughter has a disability and your old lady at the counter wouldn’t help her she had to call me crying without a sandwich because she didn’t have time to help her. Hold that phone… you didn’t have time to help a customer a paying customer becauae they needed a little assistance.

I usually never leave reviews but these ladies were very rude. There was also a huge dead moth in the spinach and they served it, just picked around the moth. I understand being an older person working at a sandwich shop isn’t most people’s idea of the American dream, but don’t insult my mom over adding a drink and using a gift card. Life is hard enough, grow up.

Although the sandwiches were quite tasty, the employees were not friendly. I did not feel welcomed to order there and the environment was hostile. When we asked for extra toppings on our sandwich one employee rudely asked “ what else”. Then threw the extra toppings, olives and vinegrette, then proceeded to not cut out sandwich in half fully. After recieving our sandwich’s we asked for a cup of water, and had a cup tossed haphazardly onto the counter almost falling off the counter. The olives we added onto our sandwich tasted like they might have been expired, overall this experience left me feeling unhopeful for humanity. I will not be visiting again and would not recommend visiting.
