Probably the worse Subway I have been in. We got one sandwich and one wrap. The first lady that took our order started the one sandwich and then, I am guess the manager told her to help her find something instead. So then a guy comes over to finish the first sandwich and the wrap. My daughter got a Rotisserie Chicken, the last used her hands to put the chicken on the bread. The guy used his hands to put the tuna on my wrap. Very messy, very unpleasant. The wrap was falling apart and split open. I definitely do not recommend this place and I definitely will not return.

I hate leaving bad reviews for a small town shop, but I have had the same issue with my food on several occasions here for years and today’s order compelled me to finally address it.
I on average receive less meat on my sub at this location than at others and when I try to mitigate this by paying for 50% extra or double meat I do not receive the full extra amount I pay for. I know this because I order the same thing from other locations and this is the only location that differs in amount.
I get rotisserie chicken or steak (meats that require a scooper and not by the slice) so I believe it’s easier to hold back on these portions to cut cost.
Today I ordered extra meat once again and got a minimal, regular amount of meat.
I keep coming back to this location because of the convenience of the drive thru and proximity to my house. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can support a business that is not giving me what I am paying for on a consistent basis.

On a Saturday (May 3rd) at 7:15pm, the doors were locked, even though Google says they close at 8:00pm. There was a typed-up sign from the store manager and it mentioned that ordering through the app and picking up at the drive through window was available until 8:00pm. So I download the app, and it said that the Cottage Grove location is not available to take online orders aka “ordering offline”
No wonder Subway is struggling as a business. It’s a Saturday night and you can’t get a sandwich during normal dinner hours. They can’t even bother to update their hours on Google, wasting everyone’s time.

Showed up at 8:45pm, google and every other subway I’ve ever been to close at 9pm. Door was locked and employees inside had their bags on ready to leave for the night.

Tried to order a two subs thru the app using a buy get one free promotion only to have may order caneled after it went through. From reading the reviews it appears that this location doesnt take subway coupons. Would be nice if they wouldnt appear on the app as taking them since other locations that do not take them do not. Not taking the coupons is fine but showing you do just to canel the order is not. Now I’m out $15 dollars till the refund is processed through showing it will return to my account in 7 days.
I can only go off what it showed order went through $15.81 showed the progression bar on the order. I walked out to my car went to pull up the address since I dont normally and order from your location. Looked at the app and my order and it informed me my order had been refunded. I have a pending $15.81 debit on my account. I have a refund pending for $15.81 for that says it will process on the 11th. It very well may go through before this is true. I may have been they app but I have order many times and I have never had it happen before. Thank you for your response have a nice day.

I love that this place has a drive-up option. I frequent it often. The subs are always accurate and outstanding! Very nice employees here, the owner is a great guy and cares about his store. Every time I’ve gone inside to order, it’s always so clean. But the drive-up option is so convenient! Not every subway has that feature. Incredibly fast and friendly service all around, every time.

Best Subway location I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going here for my lunch break ever since I started working down the road at Johnson Health Tech, 4 years now. I always get the mini pizza with loaded veggies, some of the veg I like added before and after heating, and have a somewhat strange order. It’s always made to my preference, to perfection! The one staff member (forgive me I forget his name, but he has black spiky hair and all the pins on his hat) is always so kind, wears a smile, always asks me if I want the extra fixings like the oregano and parmesan dusting after it comes out of the oven. I know it’s easy to get worn down after many years of being in customer service (I’m in customer service myself, not every day is easy to put on a smile), but he’s doing it right! So grateful for this little shop.
(Ps to anyone reading, the other recent one star reviewer you can ignore because she clearly can’t read signs that are clearly displayed in plain view on how they honor old coupons. Once a Karen, always a Karen lol.)
