They have the sweetest younger girl working there now. She genuinely cares about her job and her customers. And she makes great sandwiches! It makes such a difference. I’ve been coming a lot more since they hired her.

I went to the spirit lake subway and I was ordering my sandwich and there was a new employee that had started and a younger boy. While I was ordering my sandwich the younger boy had asked the new employee where a certain knife was and she had explain to him that it was in the back. He then yelled at her saying that she should not wash that knife because it is very sharp and he yelled at her in front of three other families that was there. I felt very embarrassed for her and I was very disappointed in the way he spoke to her. He was very rude I am not sure who this employee was but I hope he gets talk to you about the way he acted.

1/27/20: I have been having bad experiences with this subway for awhile unfortunately but tonight’s service was so bad, I felt the need to write a review. Our customer service was ridiculous. They did not cut our sandwich in half, they put exactly 11 pieces of spinach in our protein bowl, put the lid on the protein bowl upside down then went to rinse it off and brought back a wet lid to put over top of it. Were very rude and and rushed us the entire time we were ordering because they were “in the middle of online orders”. The young man closed my sandwich before it even had sauce on it, while asking “is that all”. Just overall not impressed. I like when Subway employees ask me if I need more of anything and try to converse with me. I did not get that experience tonight and haven’t for awhile.

Stopped in to pick up a couple subs for me and my children. I walked in and there was a young gentlemen working on a online order and told me itd be a few minutes, no problem. The other employee, a girl, was ringing up the guest before me. After she was done ringing in that guest she came to start my subs with the same gloves she had been wearing when ringing in the previous customer. That is completely unacceptable, and I believe she may need to be talked to about proper sanitary precautions. It was Sunday August 2nd at around 5:15 PM.

There is usually only one or two workers at a time here, so if there is a line you have to wait a bit for the sandwich maker to finish with the other customer. Other than that, they make the sandwiches very well, and they are usually evenly made. They are very willing to work with you to get your sandwich just the way you like it.
