I have only ate at this Subway once before, but due to my housing location and looking for a quick , yummy Subway lunch I called around my closest area and my phone calls were not answered at all for 10 minutes for a call in order. Therefore I called the West Side Subway and asked how soon two normal sandwiches could start being made and the sweet, kind voice answered me, “Right Now”. I gave my order and went to pick up my sandwiches and I walked into a beautiful, cleaned (very clean) Subway with three very friendly employees.
Time is so important to me, and valuable. So when someone picks up a call after one ring, that’s value to me. Importance of a clean restaurant is a huge importance to me. These staff members take pride in their presence, the sandwiches were pleasantly served, and the final presentation, transaction and big thank you at the end of transaction has done it forever for me. Thank you so very much.

Horrible place. Average food, of course, but the tip pressure on top of shabby service is really over the top.
If I was just popping in for the run-of-the-mill sub, I could easily live with average to below average stuff. But don’t push me to tipping by pointing to the tip policy AND mentioning it when you’re not handling customers well throughout.
This rebadging of the same old stuff is marketing whooey. It’s the same stuff with different names. Only this time it costs more.
There’s a reason this chain is in decline. This location is an example as to why.
For the staff that works there, I’d go find work at a place that values you and doesn’t force you to grovel for tips in a 30sec chow line.

….This Subway is out at the Phillips 66 area. …I prefer this one , the place is really clean, staff is great, and I feel that it just has ” a better vibe ” than the other one. Personal preference, not everyone may feel the same way. 🙂
