Came in on the weekend after the games and the line was long but there was only 1 person working. The service was pretty fast though. The girl is autistic and seems like she knows what she’s doing she’s super quick and cuts the sandwich’s really nice so the veggies don’t fall out. Other than the wait which is reasonable it was a good experience.

Walked in and had Santa come in and visit from his adventures at the book store next door. He welcomed me and as the store sandwich specialist made the two sandwiches I ordered. We had great conversation and everything I wanted they had and even got a discount for being nice to Santa. Maybe I will be on the nice list this year!!

We had a large order that we placed. Lisa and the staff were excellent to work with. The subs were ready on time and were delicious. They also catered to other events we have and have always been spot on with service and deliciousness. Highly recommend!!

I came in to get 2 foot longs, and a nacho.
All was ordered toasted. One sandwich was double meat, one nacho was double meat.
I was told “we ran out of the chicken the rest was frozen” so instead of removing that from the charge she simply sent it off. I brought back one sandwich when I discovered the meat was missing. I didnt care it was not toasted but whatever.
I saw the rest of the order was also wrong, No double meat on the nacho, No toasting on the sandwiches. I ordered for people with sensory issues and they would not eat it if it was wrong SO I came back asking for a refund.
The lady who is the manager, (older dark haired woman) Argued with me (I have this all on video by the way if corp wants to see it. ) She basically called me a scammer, and i had to fight for like 20 minutes to get a refund (that I still have not received.)
She took back the food I had purchased and threw it away before trying to charge me an additional 10 dollars for the half of a sub that got fixed and had three bites taken out of. Then when i said No 10 is not the price of a 6 inch she tried to charge me 6 instead, meanwhile insulting my intelligence, saying I was being “suspect” for asking for my refund.
She legit argued that I didnt order double meat even with BOTH OF OUR RECIEPTS STATING IT CLEARLY. I still dont have my money, I dont have dinner now either. So Dont come here. The kid working was nice though.
Read through the reviews. This is a manager issue. She cant keep stuff stocked, She argues with customers, and she straight up robbed me of my money and the food I bought and REFUSED to give me the number of corp or the owner.

We aren’t in Ankeny very often but went this morning to see family. We decided to go to subway for lunch (around 12:30) because all the jimmy johns lobby’s were closed and the drive thru’s were busy and slow. And we were on a time crunch. The young gal at the counter, unfortunately didn’t see her name, needed a major attitude check. She was extremely rude with horrible customer service. She was snotty and condescending to my daughter, to me and my husband. No one likes to be talked to like they’re stupid but she talked to each one of us that way. The only thing she did was take out the bread, slap some cheese and meat on it and toasted it. If making sandwiches annoys you so much get a different job. Then she went in the back and left the only other person there to do the rest herself. No one else was behind us. She could have helped make the sandwiches or at least wrapped them and rung them up at the cash register. I would NEVER want someone like that representing my company. The other lady seemed nice but was extremely slow. The toppings did not look fresh. I hate when everything looks old and i especially don’t like it when toppings are mixed together in their containers. And the prices now are seriously ridiculous. All in all horrible experience. Won’t ever be going back to that one.

I came in pretty late and ordered 3 sandwiches. Instead of the ladies getting annoyed to help me they simply just said okay no problem! One of the girls accidentally stabbed her self while cutting my bread open, I was so worried but she ended up being okay and made each sandwich with love! I honestly have never had a sub taste so good like it did coming from this shop!
