By far the worst experience ever! I don’t usually write reviews EVER! But this one is just not okay at all. I understand people have off days and what not, but you work in a customer service environment. When I walked in at 705, no greeting, no customers in there nothing! I stood there as they were making orders from what appeared to be an online order which I understood – I patiently waited, nobody still has yet to greet me or let me know what’s going on, the blonde gal working there looked at me and didn’t even say anything 0 sense of wanting to be there. She wanted to get out of there and announced that after her order she’s out. Finally after 17 min!! Of standing there. The guy named Noah said what can I get you , no apology for the wait no greeting, it gets worse. They make my 25 dollar meal and sandwiches sloppley, for me to get to the register to tell me they can’t take cash unbelievable. I would not recommend this subway!! To ANYONE 3 days before I was at that one also and I was told I had to put my sauce on first and the lady there was arguing with me because I didn’t choose my sauce cost before I put my veggies on, obsurrd!! Unbelievable!

I was very disappointed in my experience tonight. I placed an online order, picked it up and came home – and found that my sandwich was made very wrong. I think the only thing that was correct was the bread, lettuce and tomato? I’m assuming that my sandwich was placed in the wrong bag and i got someone else’s sandwich?? This is my 3rd time trying to order from this location and they have made all my sandwiches wrong, but this is by far the biggest mistake.

Stopped into Subway and had an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly, quick, and actually paid attention to how I wanted my sandwich made. Everything was fresh, clean, and made just the way I like it. You can tell they take pride in their work and making sure customers leave happy.

Just got a sandwich from this location and the guy who was making the sandwiches didn’t seem like he cared at all. He was throwing everything on the sandwich carelessly and when I asked for mayo I specifically asked for extra mayo and the bottle he used was already empty and barely had any on the sandwich, to which he proceeded to look at me as if a single line of mayo was enough and counted as extra and when I asked for more he rolled his eyes, took the old bottle and just threw it. Then he proceeds to grab a new bottle and slings his hand side to side causing the mayo to go all over the sandwich and the paper but only to add a second line of mayo. More of the mayo hit the paper and the counter than actually hit the sandwich. This employee didn’t act like he wanted to be there and had the look of he hated his job all while he was standing next to a new employee who looked and acted like he was in training. Very unprofessional. On top of that Subways signature hat would barely stay on his head due to his hair net and he kept adjusting it while making my sandwich. Hopefully the other location across town is better because I don’t think coming back to this one is worth it if this is how the employees want to act at this location.

My mother and I stopped into this Subway and immediately felt uncomfortable. The employee who approached us did not greet us and appeared visibly upset or angry, which we initially brushed off. However, when we asked simple questions, she seemed annoyed.

When my mother asked which breads were available, she just pointed toward the oven behind her instead of answering. When I asked what the cold cut daily meal included, she pointed at a meat that was completely covered with paper, offering no explanation. There was no effort to communicate or be helpful.

The overall interaction made us feel unwelcome, and due to the obvious displeasure shown toward us, we decided to leave without ordering.

Tried to place an order for pick up, the woman working allegedly made my order and gave it to the wrong person. She then tried to hand my wife someone else’s order, messing up 2 people’s lunch clearly. If the owner of this business wonders why he has to issue 2 refunds today (October 10th) back to back, this is why.

Ordered for pickup, delivery and ate in 3 times over last 2 weeks. All 3 times yes including eating in there messed up some sort of the order. Wanted to see if it was certain employees or all employees that were messing up. Don’t know on delivery but didn’t get the cheese, veggies, and it wasn’t toasted. I’ll go to the northern Ankeny Subway from now on.

Placed my order online. I was outside the store when I did this. My was picked up right away when my daughter went in to grab the food the bag was soaking wet. The lady with glasses and brown hair that works the night shift made the comment oh my gosh why is this wet let me change the bag. On BOTH of my orders. Drive home and try to eat and my sandwich is soggy. Bread is so wet that it’s mushy. Lettuce and spinach doesn’t look the best. Tried to pick off some of the pieces and it was mushy as well. When I called to talk to a manager I was told there wasn’t one. I explained what was wrong and she said well one of your sandwiches was toasted. After I told her it wasn’t even the toasted sandwich that was soggy then it became well it was because of the meat on your sandwich. Like come on?! If you can’t make a sandwich without making it soggy because of meat or because of it being toasted AT A SANDWICH SHOP then don’t work there Will not ever go here again!

Quite frankly, Im the ‘difficult diner’- i accept it. As a result, i always brace myself for negative interaction or terrible food since im pretty OCD, especially when trying out a different location than my norm…
The woman behind the counter this morning handled my nuances far better than anyone else has in awhile and to be honest it made me feel a little less neurotic. She even had me laughing, where im usually pretty reserved and unapproachable in public settings..
I dont normally eat inside, again, see ‘OCD’ but i took a look around the dining room and realized it was pretty clean, and I decided to dine in. The fountain soda i had didnt have that weird mildewy flavor that most subways typically have…the flavor/carbonation was perfect. The sandwich was far better than I expected. i thoroughly enjoyed my meal for the first time in a long time.
Thanks again to the woman that helped me today, you made my day a little bit brighter.

We had a really good experience here. Just gotta have some patience and treat people kindly. We came in person with a large-ish group. Ordered at the counter and took the sandwiches to go. Service wasn’t super fast, but it was fine. They were doing their best. Bread was very dry. Overall, the sandwiches weren’t as good as they used to be. But it was about a 3.5 stars experience. Bumped it up to 4 because the staff was good.
