I ordered the Sweet Onion Steak Teriyaki Sub, it was probably the worst sub I’ve ever had. Looked like it was made in a rush on a day they weren’t busy. It’s supposed to have green peppers, red onions, steak and cheese.
All it had was the steak, cheese, sauce, and maybe one little red onion, it completely lacked the other toppings it was supposed to have. The sloppy sub onion tasted like sweet onion teriyaki and cheese, it was horrid. I even contacted Subway directly about it, got absolutely no reply. If you’re going to go here, go in person so you can watch them make it, otherwise they don’t know what they’re doing, I don’t recommend you use the app, even if it’s for convenience unless you wanna risk your meal tasting terribly. I had to use the app because I only get a 30 minute break, and wouldn’t have time to eat if I drove there to order it, then drove back.
Instead of the Boss (meatball) I got the Beast(coldcuts). Discovered it at home, had to go all the way back. Young woman behind counter was very nice and apologetic. Neither employee knew how to adjust bill. Had to call boss. I felt I should get the $5.00 nachos free. No way. Even though I had to come all the way back to store, wait for 6 people to get their subs and wait for boss to answer phone. I also ordered terriacki chicken sub. Used to love them. No longer made with chicken strips soaking in sauce, it is made with processed cubed chicken. Horrible tasting. I threw half of my half along with the other half away. I won’t be eating at Subway again. Wasted $50.00.
Biggest complaint is the pop machine – I dunno if the syrup to carbonated water ratio is off, but both times I tried pop from here it tasted like diet coke with ice that sat in your car in the summer and went flat.
But again, everything else is solid. Clearly the store is managed by and owned by people who want repeat customers and don’t make the common business mistake of being penny wise but dollar dumb.
PS, there’s an option to tip. Do it if you can;)
