Could be worse but not by much. I ordered online ahead and got to the shop at 5:55 pm. Planned for a quick grab before my meeting, but didn’t get out until 6:23 pm with a sloppy sandwich that costs $16 and tips. I can see the only two servers in the shop is under extreme stress already, but the line is not moving. When the lady did mine after unreasonable amount of wait time, I see the sandwich is nowhere near what I put in for the order. I could have her to add the missing ingredients to the side but I can’t afford missing the meeting. Before I dug in, I already have a bitter taste in my mouth.

Overall poor quality and sloppily made sandwiches. Most of the ingredients were only on half the sandwich and everything was light. You could probably ask for extra everything and hope you get reasonable portions. Called to voice a complaint and the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive.

This used to be my favorite Subway branch because the manager and staff were very nice and attentive. Now however, the staff are unfriendly and don’t seem interested in helping anyone. They don’t even know items that are on display. They didn’t even offer to toast my sandwich. Hopefully, I can replace this review with a better one in the future

This review is for the owner/manager of this Subway. This restaurant is not deserving of even a single star. The food is old, stale, and terribly prepared. The tomatoes I got tonight were not so much cut pieces of tomatoes as much as they were tomato paste. The only bread available was flat bread and it was stale, hard, and tasted like cardboard. There was only one employee working as well meaning that there was a long wait but that problem I can live with. The main problem is with the food being so terrible, dirty, untidy, and not fresh. The restaurant has located at such a nice and new location yet the all the food preparation areas are so dirty and unpleasing. Never wasting my money on this location again and going to the subway on Purdue West or Chauncey.

Incapable of handling online orders. In what may be the world’s worst Subway, when we order online to pick up, I’ve had them mess up our order more often than not. (Literally batting below 50%). We order almost every week. The food is fine but we’ve have them mess up the length of our sandwiches (6″ vs foot), the type of sandwiches, today they forgot to make the order entirely. My favorite: one time they made our entire order of three sandwiches – but didn’t put meat into any of them. We continue to visit as we like Subway, the price is right, and it’s on our way home, I just wish they could get their act together. When I pick up our order I’ve learned to double check everything.

The guy making my sandwich seemed pretty new and only put about 3/4 the amount of meat that I was expecting. I asked him if he could add a little more and he did but they charged me for the “extra” meat even though the sandwich still had less meat than normal. Just kinda annoying.

This Subway has probably some of the most impolite employees I’ve seen at a Subway. I understand that it gets a lot crowded with so many customers because it’s on campus but that doesn’t mean you can be impolite. There’s almost always a cross contamination between meats and veggies and once when I asked the employee to change his meat touched gloves before making my vegetarian sandwich, I was stared at with a disgusted look and then was served an improperly warmed veggie patty sandwich. One star feels too much for this location. Not having a sandwich from this location again.

This place is pretty slow compared to average Subways in my experience. The employees often seem poor-mannered or maybe just untrained.
Edit: service and speed is better, still not excellent
Second Edit: I just had the worst subway sandwich of my life here, this place is very inconsistent.

I had a delicious sandwich from this shop (salami and jalapeno with buffalo sauce). It was very well made and the ingredients were of adequate freshness. However, despite great service BEFORE paying for my food, I was essentially ignored afterwards. It’s like they weren’t even interested in my repeat business! This is disappointing, and they’ll be especially disappointed when education person Mitchy (I’m allowed to call him this because we’re pals) Daniels avoids their business as well.
Really the bulk of my complaint comes from the refusal of both employees to play a game of Qwirkle. I was willing to teach the rules and everything! There was really no need for both of them to be behind the counter (unless neither of them was confident enough to serve a handful (like 10) customers on their own, which indicates a need for better training (seriously I can make 10 sandwiches in like half an hour)) and it isn’t a difficult game for an educated person anyways. At minimum players need to be able to recognize simple shapes. It’s frankly shameful that Subway’s staff refuses to partake in a wholesome family game like this. America needs to get some of that old wisdom back… after all, the “customer” is always “right”!
also they should serve potato products

We came in on a whim this morning, hoping they could make a vast array of sandwiches for our sons fencing team. Ginger grabbed an order form, got our order and cranked everything out in no time. We were out the door, making bellies happy in under 20 minutes with a huge platter of subs.
Thanks, Ginger!!! And remember, GO BG FENCING!!!
