Food was fine.. I have managed many food places so I get it. I would usually never say anything but man couple of these people here seem to hate their lives / job. I felt more like a burden. Body language, demeanor is everything and I’ve had great service here many times. Hopefully a fluke but the last couple times it’s been blah from the same girl in the morning.
Update: 5/22. I stopped by there this morning and I think only the manager was working but he was as nice as can be.

RUDE! RUDE DOESNT EVEN CUT IT. I stood in line for 10 minutes waiting while the girl worked on other subs. Nobody else in line. Finally I asked if they were going to take my order and the man says she’s working on an online order. I said okay but there are 2 of you. Can’t you get my order? He said no. So I told him okay I will go elsewhere and was met with see ya. This business is rude, the employees do not care that you have customers standing there waiting to get their order taken.

Went in for a sandwich today before work, Monday, October 21 around 5:30 like I usually do a couple days a week. The boy behind the counter tried to tell me the bread I chose was only allowed to be used for 3 specific sandwiches and that I couldn’t build my own sandwich… I’ve been to this location multiple times and have never been told this nor have I ever been told this at any location. When I told him that’s not how it works and I can build whatever sandwich I wanted he looked at me like I was retarded and told me no I couldn’t. I told them to just forget it and that I’d be taking my business elsewhere and another girl behind the counter chimmed in real snobby like and told me to have a good day before I was done talking. Whoever owns this place either needs to fire these 2 or teach them how to do their job because they’ve now cost you atleast 1 customer and who knows how many more as I won’t be spending another dime here.

I eat here when we don’t want to cook anything and I have coupons.
It’s a Subway… Ran by teenagers.
They’re all friendly enough and don’t mind a chat usually. (I chat a lot)
They all make sandwiches as you ask, but each has their own.. style.
Some of them are neat and closable, others turn into salad on your commute home.
They still eat the same.
Its in the back of a high traffic gas station.
Seating isn’t very inviting.
There are zero windows in the fancy subway seating area.
The gas station tables are in the high traffic area.

Today is March 9th and it’s 3:44 p.m.. in Galveston, indiana store…whoever the two young nice girls that were in there working probably weren’t ready to be left on their own. Ordered a Philly steak, a BLT double bacon , and the meatball sub. If I wasn’t paying attention my Philly steak would have been cold out of the cooler my bacon would have been cold out of the cooler. Because none of the meat got warmed up until I said hey you need to take that off the bread and warm it up .If they don’t know how to make the sandwiches correctly they’re not ready to be on their own. It’s not like they got confused and asked me if I wanted my sandwich toasted because that was never asked.

THIS place is very unprofessional. The employees have attitudes. Hiring new people daily. One girl has warts all over her body and they are allowing someone to make sandwiches like that? I get it she can’t help it or whatever. But there is a way she could appear to look better. Her hair is messy and she is dirty. The old manager has even talked about how she can’t believe she is working there. Oh actually she’s the new managers sister that also works there. There are two younger employees who are nice. My wife and I absolutely love Lacey. She really knows what she’s doing. She makes sure that we have everything we need and more. She makes sandwiches the way they should be done. She’s respectful and her work ethic is on point. If she comes around the corner and she sees they are busy she comes through like a tornado getting it done and getting customers there food. If I see she’s working we definitely stop and get our sandwiches. I will let my fellow workers know to ask for lacey if they here

Against my better judgement I gave this store another try this afternoon. The bread was so stale I’d be surprised if it wasn’t 3+ days old. It legitimately broke as she was opening it, but she decided to serve it anyway. I’m unsure who trained this girl in customer service but their title should be revoked as there was no greeting, no thanks, uninterested/ semi-annoyed responses and inquiries, and the most sluggish service I’ve had the displeasure to be met with at any subway location. The way the sandwich was build also resulted in the majority of the mayo to be left on the wrapping. Not to mention all the meat was on one side, and all the condiments were on the other. It seems like common sense that if you center the ingredients on the sandwich, then when you fold it it is completely disproportioned. Couldn’t be less pleased.

This is by far the worst Subway I have ever had the displeasure of visiting! The employee named Jessica is the worst! She is rude! She rolls her eyes! She sighs heavily like she doesn’t want to be there. So why is she? I will never go to this location again! I have a lot of family in Galveston who will also never go there again! After I told them how I was treated they also said they had also encountered this same hateful woman! SHE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO WORK WITH THE PUBLIC!
