Made a DD order they forgot half of my order. It’s not DD fault for this mistake but this subways establishment. Then the gentleman told me to bring the sandwich back in like he didn’t believe my words stating it was made incorrectly. This would be the last time I go here bc you don’t trust your customers.

The place looks pretty clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I believe the owner was working the front too. Im always happy to be greeted. .my sandwich was a spicy Italian, which is my go to. The lettuce looked like it was starting to brown.
I’ve never had a bad tasting sandwich at any Subway, but sometimes the veggies look a little sketchy.

Sunday 12/28/25 at 8:45 am, it says you were open, but all the lights were out. The employee with dreads was sitting in her car. I called and asked if they were open and was told yes. A white lady with a very nasty attitude came out the back rolling her eyes as if she were upset that a customer came in. She never said hello. She just said, what are you getting. I ended up leaving because there was no fresh bread available, only cold bread from the day prior and I didn’t want my sandwich warmed.

Usually we go in but today we didnt. We decided to order online and pick up. On the website you have options for every topping, less, regular & more. I put extra on mayonnaise and onion along with vinegar and oil. When we got home, the bread was hard and I barely had anything on my sandwich. Usually its leaking out and filled. I had a little bit of meat and cheese, a dab of mayo, 6 pieces of onion along with a big chunk of onion skin. I had to add my own mayo and vinegar and oil. Asked for regular pickles and got 15, not mad but I didnt even ask for more on the app. Its like we spent over $30 on sandwiches that were skimpy. Unless you go inside, you wont be happy. Why make it to where people can order online when you just slap whatever you want on it? There used to be 2 sisters who worked here who knew how to do their job mo matter if you ordered inside or online. Too many people are lazy working. They act like its coming out of their paycheck putting extra toppings on a sandwich when I asked for it and payed for it. Not sure we’ll be ordering here anymore. Its just sad that everybody wants to make money but not want to work for it.
Thank you

I wanted to say this asap but the ladies behind the counter today 11/25 around 1130am made me smile. A customer was having a bad day and began to cry and they came from behind the counter and talked to her and gave her hugs. Beautiful ladies

Asked for another sandwich and the employee stormed off in the back. Another employee came out and said she does that all the time. Maybe hire people that have a better work ethic and people would come back.

Stale bread hard as a rock. You don’t make bread fresh every day.

Ordered the rotisserie chicken footlong on wheat with lots of veggies, cheese, chipotle etc. Everything was fresh and good ( the meat was a little stingy) but good . I got a coupon from offline to use because prices are way higher now. The star was the $5 FOOTLONG CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE . It was DELICIOUS, HOT and should be shared. A must try .

On 7/10/25 I went into the subway 1503 81st Ave, Merrillville in 46410. I asked person taking my order if they carried the vege patty sandwich because all subways don’t carry it; she said yes. I replied that’s what I want. I asked for a foot long cut in half and wrapped separately. I asked for Italian cheese bread with pepper Jack cheese toasted. She did I’m assuming the vege patty is underneath cheese after it was toasted. She then asked for my veggies. I gave them to her alone with chopola sauce. She wrapped it seperately I paid & went home. After going home I open sandwich took a bite that didn’t taste right. Took another bite & still wasn’t right. I then opened up the sandwich & realized no vege patty was there. I called subway $ could tell by her voice she was the person who made my sandwich. I explained I just left subway & the first question I asked was do you have the vege patty you said yes & that’s the sandwich I requested. She didn’t sent pur conversation she just Said u only paid for the vegetables. I said ma’me I don’t know what I paid for but we both know what I asked for. She then Said you’ll need to take thi up with store manager tomorrow 7/11/35 before 2p & very abruptly hung up the phone. I called 2nd time and same response. I called 3rd time no answer. Consequently my son called & I explained to him what happened. He Said mom u only live 6-7min away get in your car & drive there. I said I’m really not feeling good but I went. Walked in subway & she asked if she could help me I explained who I was she then Said I’d have to call back bf 2p & speak with manager. I said ma’me I’m hungry now & of course after all these phone calls trip & all for a $10 sandwich I’m getting frustrated but I didn’t tell at her but I obviously raised my voice. Nobody was in their restaurant but she & I & staff in back room. She then went in back & stayed 8-10min being very disrespectful to me. I then said ma’me will u please come out & service me. No reply. I waited about a minute & said ma’me If you’re not coming out I feel justified in calling police. Still no response. I called police. Gave dispatch my name & location. She then asked for the person’s name who services me. I said u know she’s not gonna give me her name. I was on speaker she Said look on her name tag. When I tried she turned the opposite way preventing me from seeing it. She was then back on the line alone with other employees being other customers were coming in. By this time Merrillville police officers were there & asked me to step outside. He then asked for my driver’s license. I then said officer I’m not being disrespectful but I called u & you’re asking me for my license instead of asking her for her id. He Said the other Office is going in to get hers. I said okay. It was 3 white police officers & they went over near there cars came back & said ma’am where’s your vehicle? I showed them. He then Said I need u to get in it and leave because they’re sitting u for criminal trespassing. What??? He Said yes, you’re not to be on there property. They don’t want u here. I said officer I dont want to be here. I just want my sandwich, a replace or refund. He Said I can’t make rhemmdo either. I Said but will u try. He Said I can Only ask. He came back quickly & said they refused. I need you to leave ma’am. I did.
Next morning I did call the manager & she quickly said you been sited for trespassing & hung up. It’s only obvious all the time she was in the back 8-10 minute without in respect for me she was receiving directives from the manager. Why??? This never should have happened this way. All they needed to do was fix me another sandwich. I’m a 70yr old black church going lady all my life who’s never had trouble with the law. Now I get sited for Criminal trespassing because of their mistake. No customer service. Why???

I am extremely dissatisfied with two members of this Subway. Customer Service is a BIG part of what makes consumers come back to an establishment and also recommend to others. If we do not provide that, we loose value and we end up loosing our business.
My mother came in your establishment as a respectable, paying customer and was treated as if she was the one who did wrong.
There was no accountability taken on the crew member or the manager but instead of you both rectifying the situation with a simple fix, you made it a horrible scene.
If someone pays for something and it’s not correct.
You apologize, ask, how can you fix it and resolve the issue.
No one offered to make it right!
Instead you asked for an innocent consumer to be cited for criminal trespassing when you were wrong.
You didn’t call the police! She did! Because you refused to service her when it was your error.
She didn’t ask for a free sandwhich, she wanted it corrected and yet you failed to do so.
A simple error could have been rectified by doing so and each one of you should be ashamed.
Even the MPD should feel bad for even writing such a citation when they were called by the consumer and there was no acts of violence, verbal abuse, etc.
Just a consumer who paid for a sandwhich that was made incorrectly! SMH
Honestly, I feel you all must have not had the veggie patty!
