WORST SUBWAY IN ATHENS, HERES WHY:
I went to this place the other night, the staff was super rude, and tried only giving me half the meat on my sandwich. I pointed politely pointed this out, and the employee was super rude, before then decided to fix the problem. Is it so bad to ask for what I’m paying for? Imagine getting a Big Mac with only ONE patty instead of two you are PAYING for.
The WORST part was, the other employee tried to over charge me for my sandwich! A footlong hotshot Italiano is 9$, but the kid at the register tried charging me 15$! I pointed this out and the employee ROLLED his EYES at me. He gave no explanation as to why a 9$ sandwich was being priced at 15$, but to his CREDIT he did fix the price.
On a side note, this place smelled super stale. Maybe it’s just me, but usually the place smells pretty nice.
TL;DR if I hadn’t been paying attention, I would’ve gotten HALF the sandwich, for nearly DOUBLE the price!!! I should be able to just trust that the employees are acting in good faith, this is just plain RIDICULOUS.

I am willing to drive 5+ miles to go to this subway and that should tell you a lot about the locations in main Athens. These guys consistently get my order right 9/10 from online and are generous with ingredient portions. And unlike the location on E State St the wheat bread smells and tastes like wheat bread and not like tuna which as a vegetarian is a very appreciated thing…

I’d give ten stars if I could. These girls were amazing and made the best sub I have had in a while. They were friendly and fast. My family goes to Subway a lot. At other locations we have been very disappointed with our food. The Plains is THE BEST SUBWAY AROUND! Good job ladies:)

We had not been to this location in awhile, due to some staff. We decided to try again today and deal with the eye rolls and sighs that we and other customers received in the past.
I was surprised to be greeted verbally and from there, the service was excellent and efficient. Two young ladies were pleasant and accommodating, great service!!

Great service. I wish I could remember my girl’s but she did amazing. Nice, friendly, and perfectly portioned everything I wanted on my sub. It was a wrap and she made sure to put in the extra effort to make sure it stayed wrapped as I had a lot of ingredients.
