SUBWAY.
And so are the Philly cheese steaks
We promptly left and went right down the street and ordered our lunch at a different sandwich shop.
My mother decided to get something from subway that day, the sandwich artist was uptight that morning it seems like he did want to serve my mother
So I said to him I use to work at an subway restaurant and I did not treat any customer like the way you do
I was very uneasy and disappointed also
My mother’s did not want to sit down and eat because of the uptight SA
It was a sota bottle sprite she brought and I told my mother you already have a sota you should take it back, and wend she try to the sandwich A refused to do so
The owner here is a compete joke. I’ve been to 1000s of subways all across America and have never been told it cost extra to have a few more black olives. On top of that, after calling corporate and corporate telling me they can’t do that, she still insisted she was right. I hope you read this, here’s some business 101 for you. Black olives are pennies to the dollar. I was going to your location 1 time a week and now I’ll never go back. Do that math and figure out if you won or lost.. did your store win because you saved a few pennies today or did you lose because you lost my business forever which equaled out to $9 a visit. 9 x 4 = $36 Don’t worry though, from the view of how NOT busy your store gets, I’m sure you’re doing great as an owner 😉 I work across the street. Thanks for being a sucking, I’ll gladly donate my money to another business.
I had been taking photographs inside of the William Green Building, 30 W. Spring St., to post to Google Maps and had wanted to eat a quick meal before traveling to the Short North; the Subway at 163 N. High St. had been an obvious choice.
The staff [actually there had been only one person behind the counter at the time] had been very friendly; several other customers had already been at this Subway or had arrived and had ordered their food while I had been there; the one person behind the counter had been consistently friendly with a wide variety of customers.
The space at 163 N. High St. is quite old and certainly has a long history; there is a very old textured ceiling that has been preserved.
The bathrooms at this Subway are “for customers only.” The person behind the counter will give you a key as long as you are a paying customer; however, it might be helpful to know that the first door [to the hallway where the two bathrooms are located] is always unlocked but that the two bathrooms themselves are individually locked and require a key to enter.
I remember having eaten at a different Subway elsewhere in downtown Columbus where the person behind the counter had wanted to charge me an additional fee [far more than the amount of the sales tax] because I had ordered my sandwich “to go” and then I had started to eat there anyway [so I had walked outside and had stood on the sidewalk to eat my sandwich]; the Subway at 163 N. High St. had automatically prepared my sandwich “to go” and then had offered me a free glass for water.
I definitely recommend the Subway at 163 N. High St.
