The guy who served me is not to blame. But man. When people told me subway had gone downhill, I believed them but still was unprepared for just how far down. They changed some of their recipes and charge you extra when you request it the old way (like wanting real chicken strips for the chicken bacon and ranch instead of the rotisserie chicken they changed it to), and there is approximately two pieces of herb and cheese on the “Italian herbs and cheese” bread. Subway is dead, it’s only a matter of time before they go out of business. Let a small business take its place, so we can have good sandwiches again!

Ordered Italian herb and cheese bread and got ghost pepper bread!!! I have no spice tolerance and I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy so my acid reflux is so bad after anything spicy. The bread was also extremely stale. Hard and crumbly.

Don’t ever order the steak and cheese footlong long. Apparently this is what they consider ” the right amount of steak”. I would consider that enough steak if it were a 6 in sub because that’s all that it makes. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately I think in most all fast food restaurants you get an experience that is directly related to who is working at the time of your order. This time around I got the displeasure of getting the staff who must not like working g at subway… I ordered online and picked up in store. Both subs were completely cold, not even sure if they toasted them. One was ordered with deluxe meat and it looks like it’s about half meat, a quarter of the sandwich on the ends had no meat whatsoever… walked in to pick up the order, wasn’t greeted one way or the other and the food was setting behind the counter and the worker acted as if I was inconvenience her for asking for the food… I’ve had good orders and service here but this was not a good experience and it seems as if management doesn’t care.

I recently “re-discovered” Subway, but based on the experiences I think I’m going to “forget” about it again. If we walk in the service is slow, staff doesn’t seem to be well trained. If I order on the app the food isn’t ready when they said it would be. I ordered delivery today, one of the two sandwiches was supposed to be a footlong like it said on the receipt but it was a 6”, which is forgivable if they had a way to correct the situation…they asked if I could stop by and pickup the other half of the sandwich, but I ordered delivery and tipped well, so no, I’m not going to utilize that option. I asked for the $9.99 to simply be refunded (the entire cost of the sandwich) but after several phone calls back and forth as the staff with limited training passed requests back and forth with the owners, they settled on refunding the cost for a 6” sandwich…another phone calls confirms that they can’t do a partial refund on an app order. We settled on points totaling enough for a 6” sandwich on my next visit…which will be never. A total of 4 phone calls and a trip to Subway simply isn’t worth the reward of what I already paid them for. This particular Subway feels the same about its customers.
The $9.99 6” sub that was delivered for $8.00 including tip for the driver was delicious however!
So, if you’re looking for $17.99 6” subs give Subway of Powell a try!

Overall, I’ve experienced really good food and service at this location. However, I’ve had issues with the store closing early on numerous occasions over the past few years. I’ve already spoken to the franchise owner about it about a year ago and he was very kind and appreciative. However, I have had it happen to me several times since then including twice very recently. My advice is not to bother going to this store after 9:15-9:30pm as it will be very hit-or-miss whether it’s open or not.

One of the worst Subways. They don’t take coupons or do any of the promotions. Staff isn’t friendly. I’ve watched them go from making a sub, to cashing someone out, back to making a sub with the same gloves. They will mostly ignore you. Online orders are never ready on time. Especially delivery orders.

I never write reviews but I felt that the employees there should know that they are providing great service. I’ve never had a bad sandwich from this location and their kindness never goes without notice. Keep up the good work !!
