You can tell this place has been around for a while and has not seen real updates in decades. It has that late-70s/early-80s fast-food design, and it shows.
On top of that, it sits between a rundown motel and a busy truck stop, so parking is constantly crowded and traffic chaotic. The staff was polite, but the whole setup needs serious attention.
Three stars.
I ordered a vegetable sub for myself and I politely asked that mine be finished first before making the turkey sub. The employee began to try to make the turkey sub as the vegetable sub was toasting. I had to ask again that the vegetable sub please be finished first. The employee started putting a thin layer of spinach on my bread that was not fully baked and I noticed the spinach and lettuce looked brown, mushy, and rotten. The vegetable side of the bane was frosted over, causing multiple vegetables inside the cambros to start to wilt. After ringing up my order, the employee walked off without saying a word/offering me my receipt for the turkey sub.
But our subs were good and Maria expertly crafted them all!
My wife recently took my sister out for lunch and spent $58 on just 3½ subs, four cookies, and two sodas. While we appreciate that the bread is made fresh daily, the rest of the ingredients—mainly processed meats—do not justify the steep pricing.
Subway seems increasingly out of touch with current market expectations for sub pricing. Even though they’ve tried to expand their menu with additional snacks and food options, the overall value just doesn’t add up. For what you get, the cost feels excessive.
