The guy working there was really nice, and the food was good, but management REALLY needs to staff more than one person. He was moving as fast as he could, but I showed up at the pickup time, and they had not even started my sub yet because the poor guy was just so overwhelmed with orders, and I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my sub. As I said, the employee was lovely, but they’re absolutely needed to be more than one employee.

They still had over 45 mins left til close and the guy was so rude. We walked in on him moping. So he wasn’t happy about that. And not happy at all the fact that we Evan came in. He was rude and had attitude, I asked for it toasted he rolled his eyes at me. My friend and I was going to eat it there but we felt so out of place. He couldn’t wait to get us out of there so he could close up… But the food was good but it could had been so much better.

The community needs to be aware of the scam that’s going on at the Oak Ridge Subway on the turnpike.
On Monday July 14th I placed an online pickup up order that was to be ready at 5:50pm. I arrived at 5:47pm and the door was locked with a sign “Be back in 25 minutes” but it didn’t say a time. I tried calling the store, no answer. I return at 6:20pm to pick up my order, well over 25 minutes later, and the door is still locked with the same sign. So I wait and another car is waiting as well. 10 minutes later this guy opens the door then goes to the back. I spoke with the girl at the counter and said I had a 5:50pm pick up order. She said we are out of cold cuts. I said ok then I need a refund because you dont have what I ordered and paid for, and you weren’t open at my pick-up time. She said she couldn’t/wouldn’t issue me a refund and goes and gets this guy who says the same. I said what number can I call to refund my money and he replies there is no number to call and tells me I need to leave. I asked what his name was and he refused to give his name so I took his picture.
I have called every subway number, local or corporate no one answers or its a message that says go to the website then hangs up. There’s no one to email either. I chatted with their bot on their website which did nothing.
I went to the subway in front of Walmart on Illinois, explained my situation, she confirmed there is no way for me to contact Subway and she couldn’t refund me either. She at least made something somewhat close to what I ordered- a cold cut protein bowl, and didn’t double charge me. Unfortunately it made me sick. She also advised that the guy that was ahead of me who had just left had the exact same issue happen to him, paid for food he didn’t receive and couldn’t get a refund. So it’s happening to multiple people. I’m sharing so that hopefully no one else gets scammed.

My Girlfriend I went to Subway on the Oak Ridge Turnpike last week, I was hurry for a Steak & Cheese on Wheat. So she took me to the Drive through, my Girlfriend said it looks like they change how you order at the Drive-through. The Menu is now an interactive touchscreen that did not work for us at all. So we pulled up to the Window and at first it was just to inform them that the touchscreen was not working. The girl who came to the Window asked us what we wanted in a rude manner. My Girlfriend explained that she double tapped the touchscreen and tried to access the menu to make an order. The girl preceded to tell us that we needed to double tap the touchscreen and gave us all the directions that we just told her that were not working. The girl was very rude and gave a lot of attitude to us. I told my girlfriend that in the 10 minutes that we spent at the window talking to this very rude person, that we could have just given her the order and already left. My Girlfriend started to give her the order and the girl said we “DO NOT” take orders this was and told us very rudely to pull back around and use the Touchscreen to make an order, then she closed the window on us. I know that for a fact that neither my Girlfriend nor I will ever go to that Subway again, Ever.

Yesterday we picked up subs & they were AMAZING!! So good that we decided to have them again tonight! Unfortunately, tonight the bread was stale & the subs were very disappointing. And I paid for a foot long after yesterday’s six inch had been so yummy.

I decided tonight (3/24/23) to give you one more chance. We ordered two footling subs. BOTH of our orders were COMPLETELY wrong. We each had items on our subs that we didn’t want & we had to pick them off. The bread was SO stale that it crumbled into dust when I tried to bite into it. Just gross. At over $10 per sandwich and it’s inedible?? I had to scrape the ingredients (that I’d already fixed) onto my own fresh sandwich bread from my pantry). For $10.69 + tax. That’s final…we won’t be back!

I ordered 40.00 worth of subs yesterday and they forgot to give my daughter 2 of my 4 combo items a drink and chips. My daughter ran to pick up the food for me to feed her, my niece and me and didn’t realize until she was home and she couldn’t go back. I tried calling but you can’t get through on the app so if you see this Subway can you please offer for me to get it on my next trip? I was working from home and order all the time.

The man working (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) was super kind and patient with me & my kiddos. Our food was fresh & we waited no time at all. My son ended up not liking the nachos so they very quickly made him a sandwich that he likes. Will definitely be back!

I placed my order at the drive through using the screen. My sandwich was made wrong. It did not take my toppings when I selected my order. Then a female worker says to the other person “ I hate when they do that”, like I purposely messed my order up. I travel an extra 6 miles to this subway because it used to be friendly service. Not anymore. I will give the Clinton store my service. Also if you’re going to talk about someone make sure they can not hear you. Very disappointed.
