Placed an order for this location, cause my family wanted subway while we were down visiting. Realized we didn’t change the location when we got home so it came to this restaurant instead of the one in my town. Tried calling at least 10 times to get the order cancelled and never once did I get an answer. But they still made sure to charge me for my food that sat there all day and no one ever picked up I hope you guys enjoyed the food I paid for!!!!

**Summary – Dirty gas station, incorrect store placement on the map in Subway app, hour long drive to pick up cold subs, extremely rude clerk, food thrown at us, 10 year old child denied his bottled water literally feet from cases of bottled water.**

Now the long story: While stuck in horrible standstill traffic thanks to interstate closures and re-routing, my 10 year old son and I were starving. So, we opened the Subway app and selected a store that appeared (on the map) to be on our way. Not sure if that was a glitch or a massive app error – but it was faaaaaar from it. After submitting our order, putting the address into GPS, and then driving literally 25 minutes out of the way (each way), I tried to just let the clerk at the store know about the app address/map issue so she could notify management. “Tried” being the key word here. Instantly bristling and “offended”, saying the issue wasn’t her fault – the clerk Sarah then admitted that although this location is in a gas station with MULTIPLE stacked cases of water (4 of which were right behind us) – they didn’t carry the bottle of water purchased through the app and I would have to drive 45 min back for a refund on a different day. Well,.. after driving almost an hour out of the way for cold subs and then being told my kiddo couldn’t get the drink paid for (or ANY other drink option,.. and yes I asked about substitutions), I started to get pretty irritated. While I 100% admit to dropping a single expletive in frustration, Sarah the clerk then took that opportunity to accuse me of yelling at her (I wasn’t – yet) and told me to “calm down” – right before THROWING our subs at us in front of my son and stomping off like a child with a tantrum. At the end of the day, yes I lost my temper a bit after having subs thrown at us, being screamed at, and then talked down to – all in front of my son. I own that and am not proud of it. However, there was zero reason for things to have ever gotten that far. A single OUNCE of customer service or civility from the clerk at this store (instead of an instant HORRIBLE snotty attitude and throwing food at customers) would have ended with us just picking up our food and going home.

A customer form has been turned into corporate and a voicemail left for management about the situation. I’m an adult. Say what you want about me or to me. I can handle it. In front of my child though, I won’t tolerate somebody physically THROWING food and then losing their mind after denying a 10 year old the paid-for drink that goes with his meal, IN A GAS STATION FULL OF BOTTLED WATER right behind the pickup station. Subway in general has been going downhill for a while,.. but this experience truly took the cake.

Nasty surroundings inside the gas station. Tried to ignore the open mop bucket full of dirty water and the disgusting rag mop, but had to walk around them. The restaurant part is okay, and I love Subway, and it is right here in the village, but oh, I wish it could completely disassociate itself from that surly and rude environment!

Food was great but the guy making it acted like a trained sloth. There was a line that was appearing/disappearing behind us and it took around 10-15 minutes AFTER we got to the front of the line for him to make our order.

I get that it’s new years eve, but if you’re this disinterested, you need to just stay home

This location was very busy today during lunch, and they were more than adequately staffed, yet they were completely out of MANY ingredients. When one of the people in front of me struck out on THREE different things (including wheat bread, meatballs, and tomatoes)the sandwich artist claimed that she’d go get tomatoes herself if there weren’t any by tomorrow. Usually the sandwiches here are mediocre, but this last experience was very off-putting, thus lowering their rating.

Always understaffed, and poorly maintained. Waited 20 min, while one girl made the 3 people in front of me there orders. They were out of tomatoes, only because she didn’t have time to prep more. Management is a joke. Sadly, this is the only commercial food place within 20 min.

They are nasty and rude. I work there in the village and also live in village. So there for just saying.i was in the retreat lady got mad at me because I like my sub made with steak and two types of chicken well she looks at me and said this messes our count up. I said well this is how I have been getting it for yrs and she said I wish you would not order it this way. I said who is eating this you or me

Corporate has these restaurants running pretty consistent…they always fresh glove up…and the sandwiches are predictable…this location the same, however after 3 the tuna at times dries out on the top..they need to cover better between guests…..this one is in a gas station (marathon)…the gas side needs updated..
