yo girl
I’m not usually one to make reviews but the food was great, the two girls always in there on Sunday nights never fail to make a good sandwich! It was clear one of the girls was in distress, but still was so sweet and very attentive, love that little black haired girl! And same with the other girl who made me feel very welcomed. Will come back here.

way better than the one on Madison.

I had a very frustrating experience at the Main Street Subway tonight, and it was completely inconsistent with how Subway normally operates.

My husband ordered a Pocket Protein, and I asked for a simple veggie substitution due to dietary restrictions: spinach instead of iceberg lettuce. The two female employees working refused, stating they “could not change what normally comes on it” and that substitutions were not allowed. That makes absolutely no sense for Subway, whose entire concept is customization. This is a standard, no-cost substitution, and I have had it done without issue at other locations.

For comparison, the Madison location not only allowed full customization, but also asked if I wanted it toasted, which they did properly in the oven. At this Main Street location, they claimed they could only microwave the wrap, which again is not Subway’s standard preparation method.

This feels like a training or franchise-level issue, not a real company policy. Refusing basic substitutions—especially for dietary restrictions—and misrepresenting preparation options is unacceptable and not how Subway is supposed to operate.

I will be avoiding this location and continuing to go to the Madison Subway, where staff understand the menu and follow Subway’s actual standards.I had a very frustrating experience at the Main Street Subway, and it was completely inconsistent with how Subway normally operates.

Got a pick up and went inside earlier than time said it would be ready cause girls weren’t doing anything , but some cars were on the side and came in before me. Was disappointed cause I waited until the others got there order and one was rattling on about something and holding up line so finally after the second girl ask i told her I had a pick up. It had been sitting there the whole time, so after I drove home, 25 minutes way my sandwich wasn’t good. Soggy on the open end, with lots of mustard and not much meat?? Not sure if this was ham on my sandwich or not? It was in the middle of? Regardless it wasn’t to pleasant to look at. Very disappointed. Daughters was meatball one and soggy.

I hadn’t been to Subway in a while and it was better than I remembered. I got the spicy Italian, toasted, and it was quite tasty. The store was clean and two out of three employees were friendly. The other employee took our orders and barely spoke. I had a really hard time hearing her. For example, instead of asking “What kind of cheese do you want?”, she just said the word “cheese”. She would look down at the food when she spoke so I couldn’t hear her. Other than that, out was a good experience.

Just ordered 2 footlong subs online. Got home and realized neither one was toasted. Even though receipt shows they were supposed to be.

I felt very pressured to leave by the blonde Employee… she didnt greet us and I had to repeat myself 3x that I’d like my sandwich toasted.. even her coworker told her the 3rd time “toasted”. She didn’t ask if it was for here or to go and just put our things in a bag. While I waited for the second sandwich she just stood there on her phone and didn’t hand me the receipt for a good minute. She went in the back texting after that awkward moment. As we were leaving she proceeded to “wipe down” something next to the table where my son was sitting and I went to pick up his bag of chips to leave. They close at 9:30 and we were there at 6pm so I don’t know what her issue was. We felt pressured to leave. I understand we all have bad days but that was super uncalled for. I’ve never had an issue with customer service there so I was very disappointed. We were wanting to dine in.

There are two Subway locations in Shelbyville and this is by far the better of the two. I wish the parking lot had a different layout but overall it’s a great location. Super nice staff and they get your order done in no-time.

One star is being generous! Received a bunch of coupons in the mail, and saw one for Subway, 2 footlongs for $13.99. After a Dr appointment, decided to stop in and get my mom and I lunch. The girl at the counter asked what we wanted, and my mom told her about the coupon, and wanted one of them to be a BMT. The girl responded “you can’t get a BMT with the coupon, you have to choose from the list”. The list of subs were either subs we don’t eat, or subs that would have been cheaper without the coupon!! Had to go almost 20 miles to get Subway from the Tullahoma location. The Subway in the Kroger Shopping Center was really really good!!!
