I chose to visited this location as I do approx. once a month to try an support a neiborhood business in my area. I decided to visit this location again on 7/10, when I could have spent my hard earned money anywhere. I also planned to use a coupon I received from Subway in the mail this visit for any 2 subs for 12.99 After having my 2 subs made and proceeded to checkout and redeem my Subway coupon, I was told the coupon wasn’t working becaused I had already used it. The fact was I had never used this coupon and just recently received them in my mail box along with other fastfood coupons. Not only that, I have used these same mailed coupons from Subway in the past and never had an issue. After about 15 minutes waiting to get them to figure out why their coupon wasn’t working, on top of the time it took to wait for my food to be prepaired and both associates tried to redeemed my coupon and still insisting it had been used already. I insisted the coupon hadn’t been redeemed prior and ask if they could contact a manager to figure this out, which they claimed no they couldn’t and I could either pay FULL PRICE or I could call the manager Renee tomorrow to deal with the issue. I even asked if I could pay them cash and they take this up with the manager the next day being I wasnthe customer being inconvenienced and it was their system problem not mine. I was told no, unless I wanted to pay FULL PRICE, and had to leave without getting the 2 hot subs. that had already been made and now going to waste because I refuse to pay FULL price or a employee discount price that was still more than the coupon price indicated.
The service really sucked. The “Plus Sized” employee today was very rude. You could hardly hear her when she spoke, and even then, she didn’t pay attention to the answer to her questions. The sandwich orders were wrong after telling her more than once what toppings were to go with each sandwich, but I didn’t even bother to correct her because it seemed like I “bothered her enough”.
