The girl working the counter was extremely rude and was throwing things around when my son walked in to pick up our order. She was behaving as if serving a customer was a inconvenience to her. We live a 20 minute ride from the store so we did not open our order until we got home. When I unwrapped my sandwich the bread was burnt. The other sandwich was covered in pepper as if on purpose and inedible. I also ordered 2 cookies that were not in the bag at all. This happened on Monday March 2nd 2026 around 8:00 pm. When I called and asked to speak to the manager she said that there was no manager there. When I asked to have them call back she said she the manager is not a him it’s a woman. I replied I did not say him I said them. She then said she would send the manager a text message to contact me. That has not yet happened at this time. My best advice is just don’t order from this location or if you do please go inside and watch them prepare it. Always check before you leave and if you are treated like a imposition just leave. This is another food service business in Macclenny that will soon close it’s doors because customer service is not important. Spend your money where it is appreciated.

I have been to this store a nunber of times. While the location isnt anything special, the workers are awesome and better than your standard subway.

They are always pleasant and respectful and consistently willing to help make selections and provide what a customer request.

Subway generally isnt anythjng special, but the quality of the staff make it a decent location.

I did rate low on atmosphere because when I visited the AC unit in the store was not working. It is presently Summer and not having an AC in Florida is immediately rough and noticeable in an establishment with so many ovens running simultaneously.

The workers, despite the obvious heat they were dealing with, were professional and courteous and it really spoke to their level of dedication and respect for their work.

You will get an decent Subway sandwich experience here because of the effort those workers put in, otherwise this location wouldnt be getting this rating from me or my business until they fixed the AC given how warm it was inside. Good customer service can go a long way.

The staff is so rude, even though they are the ones not doing their job. They never have half of the items on menu. They constantly have stale bread. And if they mess up your order and you already paid they won’t give you your money back so never pay first people. Today I was there and when I ordered literally everything I said I wanted they only had two things the chicken and the cheese and was out of everything else including the bread I wanted. And the staff member was just rude about all the mistakes SHE made like not telling me before hand what they didn’t have and I would’ve left.

I’ve only been in here a couple of times. Tonight was a young lady named Kayla. Stressing over other things but she was very friendly, went out of her way to accommodate us and the food was great.
I would definitely return here especially if this young lady is working.

This subway sucks, the never do their jobs and always blame it on being busy throughout the day. Every. Single. Day. Like really come on people they never have most of the condiments “due to being busy” and when you say something like oh if I knew that before I wouldn’t have gotten my food, they get rude as hell maybe instead of getting rude tell people before hand what you’re out of before they waist their time and money. I was there today and they had almost no bread left I had to get what was there and when I ate it was so freaking dry I almost choked they need to get all new employees man

I stopped going to this location quite a number of years ago due to the freshness severely lacking. The bread was ALWAYS hard and dry and frankly I was tired of it. The last time I was in line there one of the workers let the entire shop know that the bread was stale and my mom and I and more than half of the line left. I decided to start going to Journey’s subway when they opened which is closer to my house. I stopped because of how much money you pay and they think it’s okay to give you two pieces of roast beef on a club sandwich. So tonight I decided to give this location another try, I thought since they had a remodel they might have changed. I was very wrong. I will say the service was awesome, really nice guys in there and very fast. I needed a subway club for me and one for my dad, my dad just didn’t want ham. I just wanted to substitute a little more
of the other meats since he wasn’t getting ham and was told I had to pay extra. Fine okay. Then on my sandwich I got only two pieces of RB. Walmart does not do this to people. I got home to eat my sandwich and my bread was so hard I couldn’t even bite it without hurting my teeth. This is so unacceptable. If WM wasn’t out of bread tonight I would’ve went there. Sadly this town needs better places and better quality I’m tired of wasting my money on piss poor quality food.

The staff is good, but the food wasn’t very fresh, especially for the prices. They are pricing themselves to the point of being ridiculous. You honestly might as well add a couple of dollars and go to a nice sit down restaurant and it won’t taste like the ingredients came from the day old section of a discount grocery store.

Hah, I just left here. They told me all we have left is steak, salami and egg. Um, you close in 3 hours .. might need to go and cut more? At this point you might as well close and save the money per hour on workers…

This is the absolute worst Subway! They never have half of the menu items listed, and always blame it on “being short staffed.” The lady working tonight is too busy telling the customers that the day shift didn’t do their jobs, so she doesn’t have any condiments to put on subs. Geez, get it together!
