First, the parking area and entrance area have lots of litter. Inside is cleaner. At 5:30 p.m. only one bread was available for sandwiches (white), with other types not being ready for another hour. There were no greetings, and the staff seemed annoyed about preparing our orders. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

save yourself the money and do not go here. i walked in and the atmosphere was awful already. i started to order my sub before really looking at the food if i would’ve looked first i would have walked out without anything. the cheese looked absolutely disgusting. the containers look like they have never been cleaned. they didn’t have any lettuce out but i asked for it anyways and the worker gave me a horrible look like he couldn’t believe i wanted lettuce. so extremely rude and i paid $10 for my sub and will be throwing it straight in the trash can. i am genuinely scared to eat this after seeing the food and how disgusting everything was. i will NEVER go back to this location.

In this store, the professionalism was absent. I’ve been to many subways and this one really disappointed me. I waited with my child and elderly mother while the employees played a game and made us wait for one customer that took her/his time and I didn’t even know if they were gonna serve me. I literally waited 35 minutes for one customer. This was a horrible experience.

Very rude staff. When you speak they just look at you like your disturbing them by coming in. That line is so nasty looking like they never clean it. The vegetables and meat look old and nasty. The containers look like they never been cleaned. I use to love subway they have went down hill with their service. Extremely bad customer service. Will not be coming back AT ALL. I wish they could have acknowledged that I was standing up at the register for more than 3 minsor more than 3 mins for an online pickup. I felt ignored, like the other times that I went there to eat, and the sandwich didn’t have all the ingredient I wanted, was salty, and burnt thus tasteless. How will they feel if I ignore them (as a nurse) while they are in need of medical services?? I am sincerely looking forward to a better experience at this store…

They put out a surprisingly fresh and tasty sandwich here. The small location is easy to miss and quite humble, but it’s very convenient, being right between downtown Athens and the Normal Town district, and across from Piedmont Hospital. They had a very good sanitation rating and were very friendly.
There’s not a lot of parking there, but it probably doesn’t get very crowded anyway. I think it was pretty wheelchair accessible.

I ordered a tuna sub and footlong pretzel online and managed to pick it up in 30 minutes. I checked in the bag before leaving and was missing my pretzel. At this point I could ask for it but the line had grown to 6 different people and there was only one smaller older lady, whom I had no particular issue with as she was clearly trying her best, I just wish I got my order fully. Judging from these reviews this is common. However my sub was fine and built as I ordered it.
