I ordered online (everything was paid for online), and went to pick up my flat bread sandwich and soda. My sandwich was done, so I grabbed it off the shelf and got my soda out of the cooler and started to walk out of the restaurant and to my car to get back to work. The dining area was semi full. All of a sudden, the gal working behind the counter YELLS, “Mam, you need to come back here and pay for that drink”! I turned around, very quickly and embarrassed (almost at the door, mind you), and said, as I was walking back to the counter, “I did pay for the drink with my sandwich, online”! She made me show her my receipt. Then the she said, “Oh you did! Well we got hit with a lot of online orders and didn’t know”. Ummm, ok, First off, before they holler across the dining room, in front of customers, to basically accuse someone of stealing, you’d think they’d look back on the online order screen to see what the person got. Or, even better, have the person’s full order ready and waiting on them, to save the embarrassment on both sides! They didn’t have customers, so, they certainly had time to look at the online orders. I got back to work and was very upset from that episode, plus, my sandwich was the worst I’ve gotten from there! I called Subway and asked the guy that was working there, that the owner please call me. I’m still waiting on a call from the owner!

The puffy blond haired high school kid, looked about 15, was a great worker and was very welcoming to me. He did accidentally put mayo instead of ranch on my friend’s sub, but his face got very red and he was obviously very embarrassed. I forgive him. Will definitely come back on September the 27th when he works again.

Last time I was there I walked up to order and waited for the lady to serve me but she was too busy going back and forth with things and disappearing into the back room. I may as well have been invisible. She didn’t acknowledge me. After waiting for about 10 minutes I finally gave up and left.

We just ordered a big load of sandwiches and the lady was so rude I’m not sure we’ll ever go back we have lived in Petersburg for many years and have never experienced service like this from subway.. she was rude asking my husband what bread he wanted and was slamming doors while getting the bread. My kids were all nervous because she was rushing them all.. and to top it off my husband didn’t even get to order a sandwich.. she needs to work on her customer service that was terrible.. she blamed it on being tired but it’s your job to continue working until you get off. Be respectful and leave your bad stuff at home.. That poor boy working with her I feel sorry for he was so sweet and she was not.. will def be calling Tuesday to speak to a manager and reporting her behavior.. not acceptable.

Usually we have no problem with subway but today we went there and waited for about 10 minutes and nobody was there. Eventually we got tired of waiting and left. While leaving we saw the person who was supposed to be working was sitting in a truck with someone. Still love subway but I think they should have more than one person working.

Generally a good place to eat. They have all my favorite vegs and sauces for sandwiches. The only thing that was a turn off was having an employee complain about other staff and management to me, a customer. Always get the potato soups when they have them. Yum.
