Went in today and got three footlongs. This restaurant is recently renovated inside and is very cute and clean. The food behind the glass all looked really good, especially the rotisserie chicken. There were fresh baked cookies coming out of the oven. It was just a nice experience. We had three different workers helping us with our order and they all did very well and were nice.

They forced a tip onto the order that couldn’t be declined. It wasn’t stated anywhere in the restaurant that there was a mandatory tip forced at the card reader. I personally prefer to tip based on service and I like to tip well; there was no option to edit the amount given either. Every time I visit this location there is a problem either with service, quality, or staff. From adult managers verbally abusing younger staff members infront of customers, not listening to requests for orders even though I offered to pay extra for the double tomatoes I wanted, and varying quality of ingredients during my visits. I repeatedly give this location buissness due to my personal preference for the Subway brand but this is the only location I have ever been disappointed by. This will be my last time visiting, unfortunately the tip situation was what crossed the line. The server creating my meal deserved more than the 3 dollars the reader forced and I also believe I should be able to not tip if i had been given truely terrible service. No where in the store did it state this would be forcefully added to my bill, I walked around the room twice to be sure I didn’t miss any notices that may have gone unnoticed.

Not clean,someone did sweep but left the pile right in the line area to order. The filters looks really dirty on the ceiling.None of the tables where wiped.(I don’t think the workers wanted customers)I would probably of not noticed all of that if i wasn’t in line forever and repeating my order also out of American cheese and olives but someone said they been out of olives for sometime (this was today) I have been here few times only once my first time at this subway my order was great but I have never seen that worker again since. This is my last time at this subway. They need to clean this place up and get rid of the four people that where working here. They need to hire friendly people. Also get rid of the gray and white ugly wallpaper not doing any favors for this place.

I’m pregnant and wanted subway so badly but thanks to the lady who so called “helped” me ruined it all for me. I wish she had a name tag but she was very petite white lady, the other lady with glasses was way nicer.
To the lady who helped me today; you definitely have anger issues, might as well you should’ve thrown veggies at me not around and slam the bag on the counter since chips didn’t fit in there, also if you need to talk to your coworker while serving a customer, you should have someone else handle the service, on top of it, I had to repeat myself twice and still didnt get what I wanted. You should not be working anywhere with that attitude and anger issues. I hope the manager sees this!!

Desiree & Nola helped make the perfect sub!
Today I was stumbled on what to have for lunch, I really wanted a sandwich but any old sandwich wouldn’t do. I found myself entering this wonderful hidden location in the heart of Charlestown, the staff created as I entered. Not only did they ( Desiree & Nola) make the sub of my dreams but they helped me pick out my side which helped fill me up.
Much appreciated & will be stopping by again.

I used to frequently eat here until I had an incident with their employee Nicole. Now, I will NEVER return to this location. I ordered a buffalo chicken sub via the app and chose not to get it toasted. Upon picking my sub up, the meat had never been heated. It was a cold sub. I asked Nicole if she could please re-make the sub and she REFUSED. I stated I wanted a refund or my order, proper. She refused both, and there was also language barrier. While talking with Nicole, she removed her headband and fixed her hair with the gloves she was wearing and then attempted to touch food with them. I asked if she would please change her gloves, and she obliged. After roughly 5 minutes of arguing she remade the sandwich correctly. I asked for a manager on duty. There was none. This issue has yet to be resolved. I will never set foot in that restaurant again until they can make things right.
Edit: I’ve still not been contacted by anyone from the restaurant and this has yet to be made right.
*Edit (2) things have still yet to be made right between myself and the owner/ operator. I purposely go out of my way to avoid this Subway, and highly advise you do too! So far, I’ve got my friends and family to stop frequenting that location.
This entire situation started because of the employee named Nicole and her inability to do her job correctly. She has an absolutely nasty personality and should not be employed in food service, working with paying customers.

We stoped in for lunch today and were greeted warmly by two guys behind the counter. They were very friendly, efficient, and worked well together. Their positive energy made it a top notch experience. We dined in and enjoyed watching them provide exceptional customer service to everyone that walked in the door. Can’t remember the last time it was an actual pleasure to dine in at Subway. Give these guys a raise! <3
