We stopped at this Subway on Rte 29 in Chatham near Tightsqueeze, VA because we were looking for a clean mobility friendly companion assistance restroom—a rarity on rural highways! A billboard advertises clean restrooms at this Subway location and the bathrooms were clean, open space individual mobility friendly bathrooms we could make do with and a walker could fit. There was handicap parking at the door and a few different people offered to assist my father walking in with Parkinson’s. The manager and staff were friendly and took pride in the clean restaurant. The sandwiches were adequately filled with a variety of fresh ingredients. We even stopped again on our way home. A good restaurant to keep in mind when traveling between Lynchburg and Danville, Greensboro or Charlotte!

I picked up a couple subs and a pretzel and was very disappointed with everything i got to say the least. Barely any meat in my chicken bacon ranch sub and same for the other one (the one piece of bacon on each sub was soggy and tiny) as well as a hair i found as soon as i unwrapped my food. Even the cheese for my pretzel was cold and solid. I ordered on the mobile app and left a tip before seeing my food

Very disappointed. Traveling we was very hungry. Arrived at this Subway only to find it closed early. Drive thru was off line. Employee was behind the counter leaning, dining room light was darkened. They say they close at 10:00 pm. It was 9:45pm when we drove there to get dinner. Shame on them for not staying open during posted store open hours.

I came into the Subway in tightsqueeze on January 2, 2021. The service was immaculate, both workers (one male and one female) were so considerate and helpful. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but they suggested the deal of the day so I got it. It was delicious as always. Both workers were so nice and i will definitely be returning again. They deserve a raise for their work.

Updated: it’s been some time since I’ve left a review for this particular site. In that time, people and menu has changed quite a few times. The people have become much more helpful, the menu has a bit more diversity. I’m saddened that my favorite oven roasted chicken was taken off the menu, but that’s not a store issue as much as a corporate decision.

I thought I was going to e joy a chicken sandwich with extra cheese, but I was handed a spinach and lettuce sandwich with 3 small pieces of red o ion and a out a teaspoon of chicken. I drove back around to ask where everything was on my sandwich to which the lady replied the cheese was under the chicken, well, what chicken and she offered me tomatoes to put on the side as the screen didn’t pick it up on the order. I don’t know which was worse the sandwich or customer service. I will not be back.It was so unbelievable I took a picture
