Wish I could give 0 stars. This is the worst subway in the Fairfax area because of their lack of customer service and concern for food safety. It’s inside the Walmart shopping mall area. I saw an employee spraying cleaning solution towards my sandwich as they were making it. You would think the employee would know better than to do this while they have someone preparing someone’s food. I saw this and felt uncomfortable so I asked the Hispanic lady if she can remake it and she did not let me. She just looked at me rudely like she didn’t want to entertain the request, smiled, and shrugged. I told her to toss the sandwich away in that case and I left hungry.
Manager needs to talk to this employee because this kind of apathy is why this subway absolute sucks. There is a serious lack of customer service and respect for food safety here thanks to staff. Avoid this location at all costs.

I love Subway sandwiches overall.
But this location both EMPLOYEES & MANAGEMENT/ supervisors
have a history of making my sandwiches wrong – in addition to mishandling my concerns every time. I have spoken with more than three people in Management/ Supervisors in the Subway department and they
have been apathetic, and have never apologized or seem to be aware that I was feeling frustrated, how their mistakes have caused me time, frustration, and other inconveniences, and that the fact that this has been an ongoing issue with the Subway employees & management being incompetent, have a lack interpersonal skills, never holding themselves accountable, absolutely no re- training of their employees/ Management/ staff,
have made things even worse.
I absolutely do NOT recommend this Subway location. The other Subway locations have been great, competent, and have excellent employees who have interpersonal skills, and care with both the accuracy of making the sandwiches in addition to having much better conflict resolution & interactions, and do not dismissing their customers’ concerns, especially when a concern is ongoing, and “act oblivious” and unprofessional like people’s time does not matter as one example among many. Not everyone has the time to stay there to have their entire order (s) remade time over and over again – especially if there are very long lines, and peoples’ time are to be valued respected. This is the very last time I will be going to this location given my most recent experience of having extra sauce soaked all over inside and outside of the wrappers of the sandwiches – after I have provided clear, easy to read , written instruction: “Please keep sauces in separate containers and not inside sandwiches. Thank you very much,” and yet still sauces were poured all over sandwiches excessively which has caused the sandwiches to be thrown out due to the sogginess, messing up its intended flavors, and soft, wet, breaking apart bread. Completely not edible. Can not show all angles of description but a couple of photos as clear and as comprehensive as possible to show in photos here.

I ordered 2 turkey sandwichs Italian bread provolone cheese, toasted, add oil and mayonnaise. The oder was completely wrong on both sandwichs. Customer service was alful. They dont care about quality. Go to a different subway. Not this 1.

The review isn’t for the restaurant itself but the app. Subway has been struggling for some time and I completely understand their downfall after my recent experience. The app is riddled with issues. First off, you can’t combine gift cards? like what? secondly, let’s said you had a 5 dollar gift card, but wanted to purchase an item you wouldn’t be able to combine it with another payment method. Absolutely wild. Never again! The customer service reps are the only thing that is saving the piece of fossil. Other company’s will continue surpassing it and I am all for their downfall.

Decided to try subway again after years thinking the quality would improve and I assumed incorrectly. The bread tasted stale and hard to eat through like paper. Ordered two sandwiches exactly the same through the app both made different and incorrect. How does this happen? Its not like a language barrier its written down on a order form. If you are going to order from this store have it made in front of you. Just look at the other reviews of folks saying there sandwich was made wrong.

The subway is in the Walmart store and I get breakfast almost every day from them. Online it says they are open at 7:00 am but if u go to order even at 7:30 they are not ready or they have an excuse all the time in the morning with things not being ready.
