Not only was it cheaply made, but it also felt like a total scam. If I wanted a loaf of bread with a sprinkle of deli meat, I could’ve done that at home for a fraction of the price.
Subway used to be reliable, but now it feels like they’re cutting corners on everything.
Extremely disappointed. Won’t be ordering from this location again unless they seriously fix this.
He was nice so nothing against him
I arrived at 9:04 and was greeted by two teenagers, a young lady and young man whom had just finished closing up the Subway and were almost finished closing up the Annie Anne’s connected to the Subway. The you lady greeted me with a “Are you here to pick up the online order?”, acknowledging my order, and then “Sorry, we’re not making the order because it did not come through.” . I was confused and showed my app and confirmation email, the young man employee paced around the restaurant with a grin. She responded with “Well, we’re closed now so we can’t make it, sorry” I replied “Ok well I will just be back in the morning” and she promptly walks to the back. Talks loudly back and forth with the other employee and then comes back out 30 seconds later claiming “I just called my manager and they said since we did not receive your order on our end then we can not make it, and if you want a refund you need to call corporate in order to get your money back” I then asked for a phone number and she then instructed me to “Google it, you should find a number that way. But we’re closed now, so sorry” and then walks to the back again.
This is the second issue I’ve had personally since this location has hired these kids. The last time I put in an online order, I waited an hour past the the app telling me my order was ready. I have heard plenty of other issues from family and friends that I will not speak on because I did not experience it first hand. I am returning today to attempt to find some kind of resolution, and I will update this review promptly.
Update: I returned to the store and the owner was there this morning. He apologized and made my sandwich. I am also receiving a full refund through Subway corporate.
If you’re in the area and hoping for a quick sub, you’re better off walking over to Jersey Mike’s which is in the same parking lot.
I gave 1 star only because I was required to. They should get 0 stars for the lack of urgency and/or staffing levels that are creating this issue.
If you ask for more they maybe will put one more miniscule piece of vegetable matter on it. The quality of the ingredients is terrible too. Don’t eat here.
Before shopping. They were still setting up, so I asked the lady if they were open and able to make a sandwich, and she replied yes. I told her what I wanted. She was wiping down counters and cleaning out the well with a rag. She put a rag back in the bucket of chemical. She was using, walked over to the bread and started to pull my bread out of the cabinet, and I stopped her saying, “ma’am please put clean gloves on you, were just cleaning with a rag” she responds. It’s OK it’s sanitizer. I personally don’t want to eat sanitizer.! There was a Gentleman working, and he immediately spoke up and told her he’s right! She changed your gloves with an attitude. Told her I wanted it toasted and she told me it was gonna take a couple minutes because the toaster was in a self cleaning mode. While she was waiting she started cleaning again along with going in the back, grabbing boxes material and stock. When the oven was done, she proceeded to grab my food again with these dirty set of gloves and I had to say something to her again about changing her gloves. After her giving me an attitude a second time I felt it was in my best interest to not eat there so I left.
Watch these employees very closely they will cross contaminate your food without a ounce of care and concern for your health. They apparently think gloves are to keep their hands clean.
