I’m giving 5 stars not only because the food was great but mainly because the young lady was working there all by herself and seemingly keeping up with mobile orders AND people waiting in line. She didn’t rush too fast to where the quality suffered, but she didn’t move too slow to where everyone had to wait. I think it’s ridiculous that they have only one employee during such a busy time, but she did a great job. I wish I could have tipped her, but the owner takes the tips for themself.
Very impressed with the employee and the food she prepared. The sub was perfect exactly as I asked for and she didn’t lazily fuj the dipper like I see at almost every subway!
She earned the 5 star review for this subway by herself. I think it’s ridiculous she is forced to cover such a busy time by herself and not even allowed to keep the tips!
If I could give the owner/franchisee 0 stars and the employee 5 I would, but my experience was great there because of the service. Get her a raise!

I cannot begin to describe how horrible this place is. Trash on the floors, the meat and condiment area is filthy, they made my sandwich without wearing gloves, very rude personnel, and just an all around horrible experience. If you want to see the polar opposite of this place, go to the subway in Dunkirk. It’s worth the drive. It is clean, the personnel are friendly, and a great experience. This franchise in Chesapeake Beach should be shut down immediately.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with how bad my experience was. I placed an online order, expecting it to be ready for pickup when I arrived, but the whole process was a disaster. The wait time was absurd especially for their to be absolutely no customers in the store. I got there at the scheduled pickup time, only to wait around for what felt like forever.
When my sandwich was finally ready, I was in for an even bigger disappointment. The employee who was making it clearly had no clue what he was doing. It was just a simple 6-inch sub, but he was fumbling with the ingredients and couldn’t even assemble it properly. Even with the receipt there printed with my order. The bread was falling apart, the ingredients were spilling out, and the whole sandwich was a mess. What made it even worse was that the manager was just sitting there watching this unfold, not stepping in to offer any help or guidance.
This was supposed to be a quick, easy online order that was ready before I got there. Instead, it turned into a frustrating, time-wasting experience with terrible customer service and poor-quality food. I won’t be coming back to this location, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you want an order that’s actually ready and correctly made, go somewhere else. This place doesn’t deserve your business.

One star. Bread was stale, all the veggies looked really sad. Also, I was informed not to tip because apparently the boss takes the tips and the employees dont get them. Shame on you. Pay your people.

STAY AWAY in other words. This store is not well kept .. food and trash on the floor . and some workers don’t use gloves . A young white man i’m particular dose not practice good hygiene in the work place .. no gloves and rude demeanor and the young man is always argumentative with an older foreign man. They typically go back and forth as far as i’ve seen and they pay no attention to customers during these said interactions.
The meat is almost always cold and proportions are very poor.
Safe to say this place is a no go . sucks because it’s once was a family favorite!

The chocolate chip cookies that I got or rock hard. Disappointed cuz I was the one thing that I really wanted. Y’all need to make your cookies fresh like they do in Virginia Beach.

By far the best subway I’ve ever been. Staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. Employees Ahdaf and Ahnaf were specifically very courteous and accommodating. Food was fresh and quick, establishment was clean, and overall a pleasant dining experience.

I’ve been here twice and I will never go back. It takes forever, and most employees don’t care. 2nd visit I placed an online order thinking it would be better. After a half hour, I went into the restaurant expecting to get my order & they didn’t even start it. (The restaurant was not busy.). Then, the employees argued over who would make the order because neither wanted to do it. In front of me! Took 25 minutes for him to make 6 sandwiches (5 the same, 1 different), and he didn’t even provide me my full order (my cookies were not included). To top it off, as soon as I walked out the door, the bag broke & my sandwiches went flying. And, there was a knife on the garbage can. ♀️ Avoid this place.
